  I can see the improved health, but not saving money. When I buy food fresh fruits and veggies are not cheap AND if I go for the best-for-my-heath-organic it's the most expensive.
  
  I also can see the correlation to saving the environment and giving up red meat.

  Question about downloading music to an MP3 player

  can i download music from itunes to a sansa clip mp3?

  is the "format" compatible?

  the file is there, but not showing in the player.. .

  Juni - I have the Sansa Clip - isn't it great! I love the thing. I HATE iTUNES! I only use it for getting Podcasts which come down as MP3 so you can just copy them over.
  
  But yes, rather than pay iTunes $1 for a format you can't use directly, pay another service a tad less that lets you get the music in MP3 format.

  My theory about the behavior and obsession of some ex-JWs

  i've had this theory for some time and alluded to it occassionally but have never explored it in detail.. it is of course a huge generalisation so no, not everyone will fit into the boxes and i'd like people's opinion.

  i don't know everyone's circumstances so it's based on a small sample of some of those i do know something about.

  it could be completely wrong, it's just an idea.. basically, i have seen a difference between some of those ex-jws who walked out vs those who were kicked out.. the most bitter and obsessive seem to be the kicked out and, i must add, those who were legitimately kicked out.

  But if you join a religion knowing the rules concerning sex, drugs, drinking etc - break them and then get kicked out - what would you expect?

  when i was exiting, i would read this board and i learned a lot.

  there were tons of people that were realizing the truth about the organization.

  i had already read critical books about jws but this site was a daily, regular "spiritual feeding".

  they say that with any trip the destination's not important but rather the journey itself.

  during my journey out of the wts and thru my time on this site here are some of the people who have caught my attention in one way or another even though i never really interacted with them.

  i posted this list on simon's thread announcing that jwd was winding down but then i thought about it and decided to start a topic because i want to make sure these people see that i'm thinking of them and that they meant something to me even though we never met.
