  my husband got a call on his cell phone.

  an elder from the local kh told him he would like to get with both of us.

  he said he was just getting in touch with the local people in his cong.

  They have no authority over you! You don't owe them anything, not an explanation, not a meeting nothing.

  Tell them to mind their business and leave you the hell alone! That's the only thing they understand!

  personally i think there are issues being played out about which we know nothing, we can only guess at ( i don't think it's the issue of universal sovereignty).

  we have been dfed for almost 3.5yrs and have been trying to get back in for 2 yrs and we are getting the runaround.. anyway..... here is the letter my pregnant wife received from her elderess pioneer mother.. .

  I'm so sorry you and your wife are going through this, especially at a time when a daughter needs her mother the most.

  I have a toxic mother, she wouldn't know love for her child if it jumped up and bit her nose! The difference is my mother's toxic JW beliefs don't affect me because I know that Jehovah is just a fantasy similar to Santa Clause, except Santa is a nice guy unlike Jehovah! Do you and your wife really want to be a part of an organization that shows so much "lack of love" and "lack of support", "lack of forgiveness".

  I'm not here to judge you and whatever you and the wife choose to do is certainly your perogative. Show you something better? How about you don't need to have an organization telling you how to live every aspect of your life to have a relationship with god?

  I don't personally believe in god anymore, thanks to the JW's. An I don't think you need an organization to believe in god if God is what you need in your life to make you feel complete. I don't believe that you need God or an organization to be happy and live a fullfilling complete life.

  I hope the best to you but most of all right now, your wife in her condition does not need the stress of the JW religion or her self righteous toxic mother!

  Learning a "lesson" from my 3 yr old daughter...

  so here i was watching diego with my 3 year old daughter sierra.

  when the show came on they were talking about three-toed sloth being in trouble and needs to be rescued.

  for some reason i thought they were saying "floth".. anyway diego says "say sloth...say sloth"...i said "floth"....my daughter turns around and says " nooooo mom, it's "floth"...(hmmm, that's what i said.

  That is sooo cute. I agree enjoy her now they grow up so fast.

  Candidlynuts: I had one that would say fruck for truck. I would ask him everytime I saw a truck just to hear him say it.

  since i posted recently about tolerance and acceptance, i've had requests to explain the way i feel/think.

  basically, this is the abridged version- .

  paganism is not a cut-and-dried kind of faith- i'm not really sure it's even a faith, more of a lifestyle.

  Thanks for posting that!

  As I mentioned to you before the only thing I've ever heard about paganism was that it was bad, evil and to stay away from it.

  What you've stated does not sound evil or bad. It's pretty much the way I live my life. I try very hard to respect others, to treat people the way I would want to be treated. I do have one really bad trait. If someone is mean or nasty to me I'll give it right back to them. Gotta work on that.

  Anyway, I feel that the same goes for our planet, animals the enviornment we live in. Do you have any reading recommendations?. It sounds like something I might want to know more about.

  at the watchtower study sunday a comment was made that "we must stop focusing our efforts and energies.

  on this old dying system and focus our energies on life in paradise so near at hand.

  were many nodding heads in full agreement with this tid bit of insanity.

  I can only imagine how you must feel sitting through those meetings. When I first found JWD I couldn't understand why so many were fading, still going to meetings. Since hearing so many stories I realize the struggle you must have tring to get your family out in tact! And believe me I don't envy you at all.

  I can't offer any advise, all I can give is a big cyber hug ((((((((((((((((((((((TSTB))))))))))))))))))))

  Do you expect the man in the marriage to be strong.

  my mother-in-law had surgery recently and when ever she does go through medical issues, it brings up something i wonder about.

  you see, i think the man or husband, in the relationship needs to be strong at those moments.

  to be the person who people can look to for updated information, perhaps to be the pillar of strength to keep everyone calm in a rough situation and so on.

  If there is no man to make her feel like a woman, then is she really a woman?

  Silly boy, a woman does not need a man to define her womanhood. Something else you will learn when and if you mature.

  However, along with the "controlling" or "demeaning" personality comes a man who has the confidence to stand up for himself and has the ability to tell a woman the dreaded "N" word. .

  A woman who is independant and self sufficient doesn't need a man to tell her NO. She has the resources to do for herself, therefore she doesn't need to worry about someone controlling and/or telling her no to anything. One more thing you may learn when you mature.

  A man with confidence is an attractive man, even if it's accompanied by abuse

  Not attractive at all!
