GAY WOMEN
by Dansk inplease bear with me on this as this is a genuine attempt by me at greater understanding.. recently, a young woman i know has come out and stated that she is gay.
this is the second time i have been shocked - yes shocked!
- because neither woman fit what i used to consider was the "typical" gay woman profile (i am not using the word lesbian in case it causes offence).

Megan is in Hospital...
by KW13 inin a sense its my fault, i made her take a look in the loft to see what she wanted me to take down.
anyway while she was perched on top of the ladder, she slipped back and banged her head/neck/back.
she is ok, up, smiling and joking compared to before when things looked quite serious.

her response was to say if your raped you need to pray to jehovah for help and just yell for him to stop so it's not considered fornication.
i was shocked at this so i found her an awake article about a sister who was assulted by a tradesmen in her home.

One may suggest sensible things to attempt but it's foolish to make rules! Praying may be all some women get the chance to do and a way of preventing subconscious, unexpected stimulation - specially if the guy looked appealing despite a womans non conformity. Maybe that's the idea behind it!

by IsaacJS2 ini was just wondering if anyone ever tried to find a mature way to defy their supposed authority to judge you this way and what sort of reactions you got.
i haven't been dfed, but it could certainly happen some day.. i'm not planning to meekly put up with the preaching next time witnesses try it on me, which has made me wonder about this.
it seems a bit immature to go right up to them and say "hiya!

The JW's are a religios cult, they have NO Authority over anyone unless that person gives them that authority. Why bog yourself down with "their authority", those elders are human beings just like you and I, they put their pants on just like you or I, one leg at a time. Ignore them unless they are taking care of you and/or yours, paying your mortgage and various bills, providing food and nurishment to you and/or yours,what they think, say or feel doesn't even matter in the big picture.
I know loosing family to this cult is devastating but don't sit around worring about what authority they have over you, it's ZERO!
