  That's progress !!!--chance of a lifetime

  first of all this isnt my my big plan that i plan to reveal later this week.

  i just got off the phone with my brother, and got the shock of a lifetime.

  the old kingdom hall that we attended as teenagers apparently is gonna be demolished sometime in the future.

  so i went fishing at the beach for about 9 hours last thursday.

  silly me i forgot to bring sunscreen this time.

  my arms didnt get burnt since i already burned once, but my legs are extremely burnt!.

  Would you EVENTUALLY be happy in a JW dominated new system?

  many here say that they wouldn't want to live in a world dominated by jw's.

  i understand.. i know that i wasn't always happy under their rules and way of living.

  i don't like going to meetings, especially 5 a week.

  she left me today......

  i went out to see my sister and my mom... when i got back she said she was leaving... when i asked why, she said she was weirded out by my lack of trust.... i couldnt trust her,, so i hid things... its not her fault, its not like i was lying or anything, but i mean some shit, i just didnt tell her... i am so used to being called names, lectured and torn apart for being 100% honest, that now, i still am scared to let anyone completely in... now the best thing that ever happened to me is gone... she left and im not sure shes ever coming back... and iom not sure who to blame.. i mean its obviously my fault, but did the borg put a fear of trusting into my heart and soul?

  i guess i cant blame anyone but myself... but at this point, im so torn and hurt that im not sure what to do... all i know is that what was finally having the semblance of family to me is now gone... the first time i was able to live with someone and love someone, albeiut with an ingrained sense of distrust, has disappeared, probably never to return..... .

  this has broken me, i don't know what i will be doing with myself for the next couple of days... i feel almost dead inside... the infamous one.

  Been there myself and I know how you feel. You seem to know what some of the problems were/are. I suggest working these issues out with yourself and or with a counselor if they are serious enough to drive people away. I dont know what to say about your friend. For now give her the space she needs, maybe she'll come back.

  Who is your favorite animated cartoon character?

  my favorite would have to be marvin the martian (first appearance 1948).

  everything about him cracks me up, from his roman gladiator helmet and kilt, to the way he walks and speaks ("that makes me angry, very angry indeed"), to the ultra cool devices he uses (suprisingly, from acme, who apparantly has outlets on mars).

  a very close second, almost a tie, would have to go to droopy (first appearance 1943), who also walks and speaks in a humorous manner, and who has abilities far beyond what would be expected from his dimunitive size.

  Forbidden Planet. It's so bad, It's good.

  Classic, but for it's day it was good at least if it is the one I am thinking of ? It was the one with Lesley Nelson of naked gun fame?

  That's the one. You couldn't see the monster and in the end it turned out to be mind created. The sound effects made it scary when the footprints started to appear. Robbie the robot was great too.

  haha!

  yesterday i suggested subtly that i go with my mother and step-dad to their special meeting today.

  for all you who don't know what that is, it's like the one day special assembly but even more "special", only certain congregations get to go each year, and it's specifically just for members, not really open to outsiders, and it usually contains "important information" for them on updates and the like.
