by IreallydidwalkoutofaKH inthe biggest game i missed was for a circuit assembly......in 1985 when miami played san francisco in super bowl xix.........my baptism was on 1-7-1989 so it was tough to miss the ca the next day so i missed cincy beating the bills and the 49ers beating the bears to qualify for super bowl xxiii.......do any of you remember when on the final week of the 1982 season i believe the networks did not have broadcasters for the games....missed those games to for the ca.....if you are a fan of another sport feel free to describe your sports experience!

Parents with JW Adult Children Shunning Them - How Are You Coping ?
by flipper ini do understand your plight - as i have 2 adult jw daughters shunning me aged 21 and almost 20. they married witness boys 2 years ago and it's been 1 year since i've spoke with my younger daughter, 5 months since i went to coffee with my older daughter.
i call them, but they won't return my calls.
i tell them i love them, but it's as if i don't exist.

Does anyone remember this old tv preacher?
by Tired of the Hypocrisy ini can't remember this guys name to save my life, but he used to crack me up late at night on cband sattelite back in the early 1980s.
he was sort of a judge roy bean type of guy with gray hair and he would sit there and cuss and complain and and talk about how enoch (he would call him eenick) was the model for christ.
he used to give the funniest explanations and illustrations.

It's so damn hard isn't it? Our loved ones are actually telling us how we must think; I've never told them they must think like me.
And to make matters worse, what they believe they won't fact check against, and they're mad because you have and proven beyond all doubt that it utter nonsense. So their rules are, believe like me about something I'm wrong about or I'll withdraw my love... its emotional blackmail is what it is.
When/if you find the answer to this nonsense, then please let me know. You have my sympathy, I live in the same hell as you. -

I'm so interested in this right now, I've quit believing in the Bible God years ago, yet have an open mind as to there being a higher being... if we go somewhere else after death, then there's probably a being we've given the moniker "God".... an after life to me proves higher life beings.

thing is, we all live together, my jw mother in law, my disassociated wife and i, and, our little girl.
we have all been living together for 5 months or so.

That's rough man... the scripture is clear though, it speaks for someone that is "teaching" something other than Christ's divinity or his coming in the flesh.
"Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. So, do you acknowledge Christ's divinity? Do you recognize Christ coming in the flesh? Do you continue in the teaching of Christ? I damn sure don't but do you?
Obviously, as you stated, they are doing their usual and misapplying scripture. But after reading this, my family shouldn't have anything to do with me....The Jws weren't a religion when these words were spoken, so just speaking out against the JW religion isn't a crime... good luck getting these morons to agree with you on this. -

Mars having water isn't that surprising.. one of the first astronomical observations made were of the channels on Mars... something liquid had to make those channels. Hydrogen bonds with oxygen as a perfect molecule, it completes the "octet" rule. It's such a simple combination, I'd think water may be one of the most abundant molecules there is. -

me... liberal male, could care less what you do with your sex organs, i only care about what i do with mine...that said, i've several gay friends... none of which are monogamous.
so, my next door neighbors are lesbians, neither are the hate all males types like some i have known in the past... matter of fact, one loves sports and hangs out here watching football and other sports with me at least once a week.
