Did it ever occur you were defiling your body too?
by NotaNess in"no smoking".... it defiles your body and goes against scripture.. so as a witness, when pushing this train of thought, did it ever occur to anyone that when ever you dug in to those fried eggs, bacon cheeseburgers, and gallons of icecream, you were doing the same exact thing?.
smoking over a long period of time can kill you.
eating artery congesting foods over a long period of time can kill you.

Smoking over a long period of time can kill you. Eating artery congesting foods over a long period of time can kill you. Same outcome. So if you knew the risks of eating all that, why was 1 ok, and the other not? Surely not the excuse, "well we need food to live".
No that's not applying proper knowledge. You know there's always been alternative "proper" healthy foods for the human body, but the high cholestoral, high fat foods is what was put into your body.
I'm not attacking anyone who has eaten like this...just questioning the hypocricy. Excuse any mis-spellings, thanks!

Help me describe the idealized JW fantasyland
by sir82 inbased on the illustrations in the books & magazines, and the videos produced by the society, describe the world that the gb would like jws to live in.. for example.... -- parties never have more than 15 persons attending.
entertainment consists of one chap playing a guitar while the rest sing kingdom melodies, followed by stimulating conversations of "field service experiences" and "how i came into the truth".
-- children of all ages are perfectly well-behaved for the full 2 hours of a congregation meeting.

Sad, but true, and just another day at my work.You know, the first JW I ever made aquaintence with, was a co-worker about 13 years ago. Within 3 months of hanging out with him (he was a fader I think), He had been engaged with a sister, seeing TWO other sisters on the side, got 1 pregnant and ended up becoming DF'd and un-engaged (she was the sweetest girl), didn't stick with the preger, and went and lived with the 2nd "side" sister who had an iron fist. The pregnant sister had the baby. What a mess. Then while he was with the iron fist, he was still seeing females on the side. He said he was "weak". Real nice guy though, I think that was the draw.

We had "Cracker" Day at my middle school when I was growing up....Ft. Lauderdale area. On cracker day, if you were white and got caught by any groups of blacks when the bell rang, you got ganged up on and beat up. Guess how many white kids hung around with their teachers after school on that day?? Mind you this was a mostly white school.
I guess the shoulder chip is passed on through genes.

This downloaded a 400MB file, but when I open it, it's just opening ROXIO CD Burner program. Not the Library? Any ideas? it's an "ISO" extension file?

And keeping it to a whisper, only keeps what God hates, ongoing. Plus what happens when people find out you knew, and didn't say anything all along? They'll think you didn't have much of a problem with what she has done, and that you didn't let people know sooner - so they'll come down on you.
In some way, you have to shout it out under the table, so all the attention goes on her bad ways, and snowballs for her. Good luck with it!
