who knows this time what the outcome of their riding will be.

And that is something the mayority of the people here seem to miss sometimes. The WT message will ALWAYS be up to date, it will NEVER loose actuality, for the world will ALWAYS be a deleted hell, untill the day the White Horse Horseman decides to use HIS sword...

WT's Worldwide Increase. What Does It Mean ?

regarding the wt's report for the period 2001 - 2002, i guess many here will agree the numbers seem to be coming back up again.

it was interesting to notice how the previous years many of the so called "developed" nations namely the u.s.a., canada, and many eu leading nations such as germany, the netherlands, britain, france, and so on actually reported decrease in their numbers.the only increase came back then from the called "under developing" nations.

this years there seems to be a very significant rebound to those negative figures.

Regarding the WT's report for the period 2001 - 2002, I guess many here will agree the numbers seem to be coming back up again. It was interesting to notice how the previous years many of the so called "developed" nations namely the U.S.A., Canada, and many EU leading nations such as Germany, the Netherlands, Britain, France, and so on actually reported decrease in their numbers.The only increase came back then from the called "under developing" nations.

This years there seems to be a very significant rebound to those negative figures. Most of those previos countries reporting negative growth are now reporting at least 1 %. Even the U.S.A. reporting 3 % of increase in spite of the propaganda all over the news regarding pedophilia, and the U.N. "scandal". Along with the forever increasing "under developing" nations, the WT seems to be doing pretty well, I think.

The fact that interests me more is that those numbers are for real. It has never been WT's policy to inflate its numbers, as anyone who has read the yearbooks for the years 1976, 1977, 1978, or 1979 can witness. All those years the numbers kept coming down as the result of the 1975 fiasco, ant the WT went ahead and published them.

So what ? , is the WT coming down or going up ? Any clues?

Will my JW wife and son get into trouble for this?

some of you may remember my son's struggle with his beliefs about a year ago.

benjamin was brought up as a jw and was heavily involved, used extensively on the platform as a good jw role model.

however, about a year ago (when he was 13) he started to have doubts and went through a cycle of depression, even contemplating suicide.

I am sorry to know about your kid troubles, and guess things will not be O.K. with the elders too. Hope you don't get upset about my comment but being depresssed and suicidal at 13, with the loving singing, dancing and acting, sounds like a very strong GAY pattern to me. Of course I might be wrong, but, if you want to help him, DO NOT disregard this posible situation, the best possible way according to your convictions and values.

The U.S.A. should have taken Saddam Husseim out of business WHEN it was right to do it. But NO, they had to do the way they ALWAYS do. They had to play their STUPID international CHESS game thinking Saddam was usefull to keep a political balance in the region.

It HAS happened over and over again in U.S.A. History. The stupid cowboys running the White House ALWAYS end up fighting the CRIMINALS they were in bed with before, or they tolerated for political reasons.

Take for instance Nicaragua. Jimmy Carter let the Sandinistas take over Nicaragua, just to find out later they were backed by the Soviet Union and Cuba. Then the next imbecil in office ( Reagan ) had to spend years fighting the new goverment in Nicaragua, selling arms to Iran to support financially a guerilla war against Nicaragua, and lying to Congress about it. Oh...there was a hero here, Oliver Nort, he blamed himself and protected the King.

Even Cuba revolution led by Fidel Castro was seen as O.K. by the jerk at the Oval Office at that time, just to fight Fidel for decades later.

The U.S.A politicians claims now Iran is part of a so called axis of evil. Poor imbecil bastards...Reagan armed Iran while this country was at war with Irak. U.S.A. politicians are like whores, they go to bed with anyone, leave apart human rights they so much claim to embrace, in order to play the game the american people and the rest of the world end up victims of later on.

U.S.A. politics are NOW in bed with Russia. Take my word...the whole world will pay the consecuences for this.

Let's face it. The actual WAR the world has been led to by the U.S.A. can not, and will not be won at any time. Why? because the enemy feeds from the western world sins, which in the end will mark the fall of the U.S.A. EMPIRE.

Same thing happened to Rome. The empire was rotten inside, the cancer of corruption had eaten up every healthy cell of it, and replaced it with every sort of decadent values. Forget about family, forget about God. The emperor WAS GOD. The U.S.A. president NOW can push the button without even asking Congress about it...

Family values in the U.S.A. are history. Corporations and politicians run the country, and are leading it into financial caos. Circus and Bread held together the Roman Empire in its final stage. What a great Circus the Global WAR against terrorism is!!!, but...Will it be enough bread to feed the masses for long? Will the U.S.A. economy have a different end than the Soviet? Time WILL TELL...

History is a CYCLE though...Empires DO fall, and new empires rise instead. Ask the Romans, they can tell.

i almost didn't have time to read the morning's paper, but a banner at the top of the front page entitled "cheerleading for jehovah" got my attention.

the article has obvious input from the society and seems to be a pr type move in light of recent bad canadian press (calgary blood case) and likely future canadian programs exposing jws and child abuse.. interesting comments:.

Every single story has two different sides folks, and that's something we all have to learn sooner or later in life. Of course it is not easy to recognize this fact, but not doing it just makes it harder to deal with.

Just think of this : Even Satan has supporters, and some of those claim he is just victim in The Almighty scheme of things. If there were a movement for granting this character a full pardom, there would be hundreds or thousands of activists all over the planet.

Everyone is entitled to have his or her own opinion, and to adhere and follow his or her own version of the thruth. JW's are doing so. So, why not just leave them alone with their truth. Does it hurt that much to do so? I guess it does ah? Well, wherever...

Kent Steinhaugh 's Great Finale !!!

kent steinhaugh has this time made a great finale with his very honest and wholehearted explanation of his reasons to leave the watchtower observer administration.

from the deep of my heart, i do admire and respect people like him.. .

i hope all members of the board take a time to digest the subliminal, yet obvious message this great character of our era has had the courage to send to the world of those who know his work and dedication.

Kent Steinhaugh has this time made a great finale with his very honest and wholehearted explanation of his reasons to leave the Watchtower Observer administration. From the deep of my heart, I do admire and respect people like him.

I hope all members of the board take a time to digest the subliminal, yet obvious message this great character of our era has had the courage to send to the world of those who know his work and dedication.

I am with Kent all the way. I dont think its a kind of disaster if The Watchtower Observer cease to exist. He says. Not at all, I agree. For if the work he has been devoting his entire life for the past years had Jehovahs approval, someone else will take Kents burden, carry out his purpose, and reach success.

All great works sooner or later find a way to be achieved, only the actors change. This of course, if such works do not interfere with the purpose of the Almighty , in which case we might find ourselves fighting against Jehovah Himself.

Ken Steinhaugh deserves to be able to focus in deeper things in his every day activities, get rid of personal vendettas, get a life of his own and dedicate the rest of this life to his family and friends. Life itself is way too short not to be spent in uplifting activities, rather than in a worthless warfare that does not amount to anything good at the end, and leave you all worn out and empty. For those who have only a few years left in this world this truth becomes even more evident. Being the great mind that he is, obviously Kent has realized this.

Thats why I think Kent Steinhaugh deserves all of our appreciation for his candor in letting us know the truth behind his disappearance of the scene. He says Personally Ive had enough for a good whileIm just tired of it all What a great lesson of humbleness, honesty and good common sense for many others here to imitate!!!

No shooting star ever extinguishes without having illuminated the world some way or another. And I guess Kent has done just so, by sharing with us what can only be compared with Salomons sad conclusion of life when spent in other things rather than serving The Almighty God.

Bravo Kent!!!Bravo!!!... What a Great Finale!!!
