  now that the time has past i can give up the surprise that i sprung on the elders before my da'ing announcement.

  i emailed the entire congregation!

  or at least as many addresses that i had which was most of those who use email.

  i applaud the outcome that love/norris accomplished for the sixteen victims of abuse.. but, i have a concern.

  it is this: for the rank and file jw, won't they view this as their "faithful and discreet" slave just got beat up by those awful apostates (associating this with the silent lambs group) ?.

  i feel for some jws who are "sitting on the fence" to use their term that hopefully they will think long and hard about what is happening in the organization - considering the facts.. what do you think?.

  My husband told his 20 yr old very active JW daughter and gave her a copy of the AP article. She hadn't heard anything about it. She said don't worry, Dad, the elders and GB will take care of it , it's probably just those isolated incidents, maybe it's Jehovah's way of cleaning out his organization in the end times.

  Hello Snakes in the Tower, Mr.Flipper here. I know how you feel. I was raised in this witness bog, and have been trying to peacefully fade Ha! Ha! for 4 years. The elders lately are trying to expel me even though I haven't been to any meetings for 3 and a half years. So don't count your snakes before they are hatched. My advice to you is you have to be careful about what you say you are doing in your life and who you say that to. You might think you have had faithful friends in that organization but you have to realize they were faithful insofar as you conformed to the faithful slaves rules and regulations. This leaving you are doing will open your eyes as to who is really your friend and loves you unconditionally or puts conditions on their friendship with you based on your religious views. I have a loving wife who is not a j-dub and a 22 year old son I'm helping through college who is not a witness. But my two grown daughters 20 and 19 will not have much to do with me, because I'm not going to meetings and have made a stand against some unjust treatment by elders. They think I'm rebellious, when in fact I'm just a fair and just person. It's all in whose perspective it's viewed from. If you have a mind and think independently with it be prepared for insults and being put down. But you will be happy to have your freedom from this cult which can only control your mind if you let them. You have to be strong. I commend you, count your blessings you have in your life and stay positive. Good luck to you.

  Did You Personally Know of Sex Offenders In The Congregation?

  i knew of 1 person that should've been reported to the authorities for fooling around with his sisters when he was an older teen and they were much younger.

  it was hushed up by the elders, as this was considered a very prominent family.

  the allegations were made probably 20 years ago, well before i was ever in that hall.

  Mr. Flipper here again. Mrs. Flipper reminded me to tell JW ex-wifes story. We had been married 18 years and she had repressed memories of her witness stepmothers brothers molesting her from when she was twelve. This all came spewing out when she was in late 30's. Her stepmothers father was an elder who alledgedly knew nothing of what his sons were doing to my ex. When my ex wife confronted her mother finally after all those years about it, her excuse for not doing anything about it was that she was a young mother and oh well! boys will be boys. Even the elders encouraged my ex to get professional counseling for it as she had alot of anger about it and it affected our normal sex life, she had a angry view of sex from that point on. She never got counseling and needless to say it contributed to the marriage going down. She is still an angry J-dub but worships the governing body as God's spokesman. I hope she gets the help she needs some day.

  Mr. Flipper here. In 1998 when still a witness the watchtower study had just ended and the final prayer, when a middle aged brother got up and grabbed the conductors microphone and yelled to the congregation," Brother so and so sitting over there is a child molester and has hurt numerous kids. Please protect your children from him and safeguard the congregation. Immediately the watchtower conductor grabbed the microphone from this brother and said to the 100 people there, Brothers the elders are aware of this matter and are handling it". The brother warning the congregation was my new hero of the century, and let's face it , knowing now what I didn't know then I see why he felt compelled to say this warning to the congregation. Everything is done so secretly and undercover the R&F members never know how or from whom to protect their children. So keep spreading the word everybody about this child abuse crisis in the watchtower. Mrs. Flipper and I are still leaving lots of flyers on car windows at kingdom halls and grocery store parking lots about this molesting cultish organization.Peace to you all.

  Yes, I would sent letters out to everyone. The parents are likely to toss them unread - they're either in denial of his nature or know all about it because it runs in the family. He's pretty extreme, Can't imagine he could just stop or hide it. Definitely talk to police. Anything you can do to prevent more attacks. flipper

  been born in mexico, witness of convinced jehovah they even preached when he was very young, memory to me the visit, without knowing what hoped, serious prisoner to a sectarian totalitarian system.

  use a translator, i do not speak much english, but it interests to me to talk and to concer people who understand well that she is to be under oppression of human projects.

  expelled by revolt for almost 3 years, in spite of to have had good behavior, it has been participating in two dramas in assemblies, regular precursor by 9 long years, graduated as university ( luckyly it studies ), of it not to have made in a under employment very common in the witnesses of latin america.

  Just added a comment to the Brooklyn article thread. Interesting to see how the Jws' contributions are all about denial, defending, excusing, or passing blame. Where is the OUTRAGE at their AUTHORITIES?! Where is the EMPATHY for the victims? Demand for reform? Apology? Seems like the personalities of the creeps in the upper levels work their way down to the rank and file. Turned my stomach. flipper
