just one more week

jeps,just one more week and i m off to africa,ghana.. my first vacation on my own.

well, not really,i m going with a friend who is married to a man from ghana, and her daughter - but anyhow, for the first time none of my boy s with me.. the boy s don t like it very much,i had to promise not to become florence nightingale (i do that,always trying to save the world,stupid,i know) not to have sex ( no,but thats not on my to do list -and not at all in a continent full of aids) never to go out without my friends,be carefull with what i eat and drink and the list goes on and on,it s like i m the child and they the parent-its sweet in a way but also a bit irritating.

well, at least now they know what it feels like for me when they are out there in the big wide world-i tell myself they can take care of themselves but i m also not happy until the have returned home safely.. mike went on the camino 2 years ago-walking through spain on his own-i didn t like that at all.the youngest is planning to go and visit our family in new zealand and australia-good for him but i ll be happy when he is safe back home .. .

so, as many of you know, i wrote a letter three months ago and told my family the goods about this cult... i think i was kind enough yet firm enought to get my point across-let's hope so as i'm not exactly ernest hemmingway when it comes to writing.

here's the best part to come of it.

not one of my letters was ever given to the elders; apparently i'm not going to be disfellowshipped for apostacy-which honestly i could give a big rat's ass less about that one, and best of all, the letter has made it even to people that i didn't even send it to which means it's being passed around.

I agree about being presentable, polite and calm... I swear a lot of JW's are actually shocked (or don't believe) that you did't go insane when you left the church, that you aren't having sex with everyone and their brother, don't do drugs, stay out of jail. Dawg, very cool what you're doing....now that I realize how dangerous and crazy this cult is I want to do what I can to educate people. My friends have to listen to it...but so far they have been kind of fascinated - like me, they had no idea how extreme the jws are. flipper

Our Watchtower Study On obedience & submission

yesterday we have a study of the watchtower about obedience and submission.

this study arose a lot of questions and heightened emotions in me and the interested retired judge sitting besides me.

we came accross the 9th pharagraph, page 28 of the april 1, 2007, where it says that: "it is easy to obey when everything is clear and we agree, but we will show that we are trully submissive if we yeild even when we do not personally understand the direction provided.

sKally, I pm'd our location. Mr. F doesn't care if I put it here but I want to wait until after all the df stuff is over, guess I'm paranoid. I keep thinking this obedience and submission study was really going too far, that they would finally piss off the congregations. But those elders were totally into it and seemed shocked that the guys were openly critical of it. Shows how strong brainwashing can be. flipper

Pedophilia and self-policing

recent conversation with an elder from the borg stated that it is up to the person suspected of molestation to keep themselves from families with children.

even when they are known to be a past molester they the boe leave it up to them to self police themselves.

now isn't that kiknd of like puttihng the fox in the hen house and telling him not to associate or eat any hens?

Buffalo, the reason they let these asswipe pedophiles police themselves is because if they draw too much attention to it by the elders policing it then the coverup of molestation will be revealed to the members of the congregation. We can't have that now, can we? It just makes too much sense. Hey here's an idea, based on their own governing bodies way of handling problems in the past. Why not have some "mature" elder give a talk on the dangers of child molestation and what the brothers and sisters can do to protect their children from these creeps? If the molester sitting in the audience is balding you might just see the back of his head turn three sheets of red, and then everybody sitting in the hall would recognize who it is. Don't they call those local needs talks, or something like that??? Bastard molesters!!!

Crisis of Conscience

i ordered crisis of conscience a few minutes ago !

i've heard many great things about this book for people who have left the jw religion and were having a hard time, like myself.

for those who read it, has it changed your life in any way ?

Hello Sexyk, Mr. Flipper here. Having been raised around the alleged " truth" it was quite an eye opener for me at age 47 to finally read something from a person on the inside of the governing body who knew all the ins and outs of what really , honestly goes on in the Watchtower's decision making processes. The book will help you see how controlling they are, how they base everything on their own interpretation without any legitimate facts at all. It helped just confirm in my life what I suspected, they aren't willing to admit they are wrong, how they have totally abused their own people, even at Bethel, and have spit them out like yesterdays garbage for virtually no reason at all that makes any sense. It helped me be so grateful that my wife , my son, and myself are not a part of a dangerous mind controlling cult who has no interest in you as a person, you are just another cog in their wheel, a thing, not a being or a valued human being. Enjoy the book, and I hope it brings peace to your heart, and helps you figure life out. Peace,Mr. Flipper.

Email from mum: new niece, and one more young sister breaks free...

last week my brother's wife (he's a young elder) had their second baby, a little girl.

he was good enough to let me know by phone text message, which will be the last thing i ever hear from him unless they keep breeding.

yesterday i got an email from mum, which had on it this email exchange... apologise for what might feel like an intrusion into their privacy, but, you know..... ________________________________________________________________.

congregation behind in their donation !!!

recently at a theo night, it was mentioned that the cong was behind in their donation to the society and it was specifically mentioned that the mags and books cost $$4 and the donations weren't even with the amount of mags and books being requested.

does this not show that the society is still after the congregations for the money for "free" mags and books?

what a bunch of hyprocrites.

By not paying for labor, or paying very little to anyone at any level the Watchtower was able to amass a great deal of valuable property and investments. Curious what will become of all that the way things are going with them. flipper
