The fundies call it "heathen".

JW's call it "pagan".

It means: anything not Judeo-Christian.

Same "us against the world" mentality here as everywhere else, nothing new.

"Pagans" sacrifice their children in the fire.

"Pagans" commit sodomy.

"Pagans" do all sorts of things detestable to Jehovah.

"We have the truth, and everything else is from Satan and offensive to God."

"He who can balance himself on this tightrope of truth in a matrix of lies will gain everlasting life."

In the meantime, everything in Judeo-Christianity came from "Pagans".

JW says "how could anyone learn the truth with only a bible"

i would appreciate your help trying to explain to a jw, how someone could just read a bible on their own and understand what it is all about.

without an organization.. also, how could nonchristians or pagans etc find out about christ without someone to teach them?

after 45 years of using the bible, it is easy for me to say to jesus question "who will you go away to?

It's very important to keep in mind that during the entire Biblical era, the common literary style was METAPHOR and ALLEGORY.

It CANNOT be read literally. It is designed to CONTROL and SUBDUE the "goyim", while at the same time provide metaphysical enlightenment to the INITIATES.

In other words, the ONLY way to understand it and interpret it properly is in the form of MYTH.

When we do that, the book suddenly comes ALIVE, and the apparent contradictions and falsehoods become vital TRUTHS that show us how to overcome the challenges we've inherited on this planet.

Worse than baptizing infants, IMO. A Catholic baptism "saves" the child. A JW baptism is a lifetime commitment, or else......

In metaphysical science, there is no such thing is "bloodguilt", unless you call it "karma". What goes around comes around, you reap what you sow. Thanks to Christ, karma can be cancelled through forgiveness, which has the capability of collapsing time. The Watchtower is somewhat right about the number 6 in that it represents "imperfection" or a "falling short", but they never tell you WHY, except for a ridiculously story about some dude eating a fruit 6,000 years ago..

You can't "guess" when it comes to gematria and kabbalistic numerology, you have to go to the source. The "Mark of the Beast" is a blocked pineal gland, which is ZERO spirituality. This is only a problem if you're 100 percent reptilian. Don't laugh, I married one.

If God truly loved humans...why not reveal himself ? So that they could make an informed decision ?

we learn from the bible that god spoke to adam ,then certain faithful ones,then after moses only the preisthood that was established,and individuals, raised as prophets,and this by the way is only a a small select group on the planet.never mind about other groups of humans.

fastforward to the era of christ ,again, god is only dealing with a small select group to advise and admonish.during the time from moses to christ he was only dealing with what became one small nation.the rest of humankind were left to their own devices.fastforward down to this 21st century we have no guidance/instruction/prophets to instruct or guide us.

( i know this is where jw`s would say but we have been preaching & teaching you god`s truths since 1879 ) all i can say their, is take your head out of the sand and look at all the changes ,corrections adjustments,re-adjustments,reversals,and failed expectations of prophecy you have published over this last century )so as to my question why hasn`t the god of the universe revealed himself to all humans of every race on all continents instead of just a small select group, if he truly was interested in the human race.

Heaven hit the nail exactly on the head. Love is what's needed to raise consciousness and ascend to a better existence, and it doesn't even mean giving up the physical body. It's a state of mind, the Christ Consciousness, the full knowledge that the Kingdom of Heaven is within you and there is no danger of ever losing access to it permanently.

The idea that we were "lost" and that our salvation depends on whether or not we believe in a historical figure of whose existence, or even the existence of the supposed town he came from, there is not one shred of actual evidence, is patently absurd. It is IMPOSSIBLE to call a God like that "Love". Everyone keeps growing until they return to God, that's the Law of One, whether we like it or not!

if the bible says anything; it says what it says.. what is said doesn't change because nobody is continuing to write it.. the bible cannot change, then.. god's word (if that is what the bible is) doesn't change.however, if any person or group interprets the bible's doctrines and the doctrines change, then,it must be the interpreter who is in error.. (i call it "error" because; why change it otherwise?).

who would have enough hubris to risk representing god's word one way---and declare it truth--only to change that truth into something else?.

answer: the watchtower society!.
