i have been amazed time again at what i find simply reading the bible, free of jw footnotes.
recently i read the first five or six chapters of john's gospel and found some things that stood out.
of course i'm sure i'm not the first, second or one hundreth to note this, but its all part of the process .
I'm am so glad to see that the consensus here is that we are all saved.
I would take it a step further and say we were never lost. Only trapped in a primeval world during its painstakingly long evolutionary process.
A rare true statement from an otherwise disingenuous and extraneous Bible book:
"God desires ALL to attain to repentance."
If you know the True God, you know that he ALWAYS gets what he wants, in the end.
is there salvation outside of the new covenant?.
there are a number of ways that the terms of the new covenant can be violated (and thus nullified) on the part of the recipient like:.
1. attributing salvation to someone or something other than jesus.

i would assume that some or a good number of us here as normal humans in this society - consider " lawless " actions to include murder , robbery, extortion, rape, child abuse, war , terrorism, etc.

Job has been included by many scholars among the greatest works in literary history. In general it is recognized as a symbolic drama (metaphor). This was the common writing style of the entire Biblical era. No one wrote literal stories unless they were doing objective reporting on actual events or biographies like Josephus and the other historians did. Notice though, that none of those historians had a word to say about Jesus of Nazareth, except for a one-paragraph blatant forgery.
The Watchtower taking Job literally is further evidence of their extreme Biblical and spiritual ignorance comparable to an infant. Like Paul says, milk for babes, meat for adults.

for instance, i've probably read the book of john about 8-10 times.
I spent nearly a lifetime constantly "grasping new points" and still "never getting the sense of it". Not until I approached the Bible with a gnostic point of view, in that I AM the Christ, my body is the Temple, and these are the challenges I must face if I ever want to be a "follower" of Christ. I can fully appreciate now what Jesus meant when he said that we are (potential) gods and that we would one day do all the things he did and more. Jesus was the only Master in the history of this world to attain 100 percent awakened consciousness compared to the 3 percent of the average human. He had 12 strands of fully activated DNA compared to our two. He had 7 fully opened and functioning chakras but this number actually becomes 12 because the middle five have front and rear openings. Jesus is the prototype model of what ALL followers of Christ will become. The Bible clearly says this in the book of Revelation where 144,000 join the Christ is Oneness and Essence, which of course is a symbolic number in kabbalah representing Divine Harmonic Resonance. Since the Christ is an energy that we all possess and all Masters have "Mastered", followers of Buddha and many others can reach the same goals, although it was Jesus of Nazareth that perfected and condensed the teachings into the most effective package.

Considering how friggin cold it is all over the northern hemisphere, I'm hopin Outlaw isn't frozen in time up there in BC, and that we don't have to wait until the spring thaw.
