that's good because you shouldn't believe everything you hear in this world.

Jehovah has always "gradually" revealed his purpose to mankind. John was given the Revelation - but did he understand it all? No. Why? He did not need to know." Sure John didn't understand it all, but those words he was inspired to write down haven't changed. The "inspired" words the GB has written down have changed a myriad of times.
Good point, Bob. And this is 'new light?' They're always quick to point the finger when any other religion adjusts their beliefs
Excellent posts, Ninjy!

Society developing anti-apostate software for JW's computers
by yaddayadda inheard a rumour that the society is working on an 'anti-apostate' software programme for jw's to purchase thru the congregation and instal on their home pc's to block access to apostate websites.
it will be based on standard anti-porn software and on the 500 most commonly used words on apostate websites.
(sucker)

You mean they can block porn... that means the jws will be sexually frustrated, and ignorant.
On the bright side all that frustration may 'enhance' the orgies at bethel....

Tee shirt with foolish WT quotes, I will wear to reunion with witnesses
by dawg inas many of you know, i've been writing letters to family members telling them how damn stupid i think the gb is; providing proofs of all their comedic gaffs (building mansions for prophets and the like) including some of their most outlandish quotes-which i know all of us can remember verbatim.
spurned on by mary and others in this site, i've decided that i will try a new ploy.
my family reunion is every labor day and i've decided to wear a tee shirt to it with russell, rutherford, and franz's images on it... i will include images of a pyramid, beth sarim, on the front and 607?

I devoted my life to a publishing company and all I got was this lousy t-shirt

We all feel the pain of the WT, now what will we do about it?
by dawg ini just wanted to make one simple statement... i've heard many say that they can't get out of this bull, they just faded so they wouldn't have to deal with all the issues that are sure to arise if they use confrontation.
many have said they can't stand to lose family members and the like and that's why they've chasen to fade rather then speak out.
here's what i've lost becasue i've chosen to tell the truth about the bastards.

Dawg, I feel for you and everyone else here who still has family members/loved ones in the cult. I'm one of the lucky ones, I was the only surviving member when I left.
I agree, I believe the organisation will go down (how long can they keep delaying armageddon?) It's only a matter of time, those warnings of 'the last day' talk will only get them so far. That's their weakest point, it will only continue to weaken them as time progresses....

They played the clip on Oz's 'Sunrise' program yesterday. Not an opera buff at all but yeah an amazing voice. Change to see all 3 judges on those talent shows without any sarcasm to dish out. Sunrise will be tracking his progress.

20 minutes....
by Scully ina jw i used to know died recently.
she was almost exactly the same age as me - we were born just days apart.
she had battled cancer for almost a decade.

Scully, my deepest sympathies for your loss
I've been sitting here trying to think of something to 'say' that could even begin to relieve the pain you must be going though right now.
I cannot think of anything that can do that.
It's times like this when their cult behaviour really shows. My mum's funeral was the same, my uncle was fuming afterwards. He went to his sister's funeral to find himself at a sales meeting for the WTS. They showed her as much respect in death as they did in life - none.
May your friend finally rest in peace
