You have to pay good money to hear good vinyl sound, but once you have it will not be forgotten and other mediums become instantly less attractive.
That's the angle I was thinking from hilary_step
The main advantage CD's have had is not getting scratched or worn while played, but if you can play a record the same way....
There's quite a number of bands that still insist on having their releases on vinyl, as well as CD. As vinyl has a broader sound wave, CD's are compressed.

Observe her body language, if she's facing towards you. Feet pointed towards you is another good sign.
Make a couple of jokes, if she has a good laugh, another good sign.
Curiosity will get the better of her as well, she'll start asking you 'getting to know you better' questions, like asking for you input or opinion.

i know in the borg, since most people are cheap, or don't have money, there was always a push for cremation.
i know my grandmother was cremated, as well as my father in law, and i think the issue was more for finances.

I still wish to be cremated, that hasn't changed at all.
For my service, I'm going to have my own eulogy written. Like how I enjoyed needle work, attended church every sunday all my life etc. Leave everyone in attendance wondering if they ever really knew me at all. Then, as my coffin is being loaded into the furnace, I'll have a recording of my voice (knocking loudly) let me out! I'm not dead! Aaaarrrgh! It burns!

Leaning toward, playing with hair, eye contact, touching, open arms etc are all very good signs (as already posted).
A good tip for a first date, suggest to meet at a cafe for a coffee. Not a coffee house, but somewhere just that bit nicer. Public place with some intimacy. Give signals that you won't make a big deal out of it if she says no. It lets her know that you are genuinely interested in her at the same time respecting her right to make her decision. Ask her questions about herself, but don't get too nosey. Pay attention to her responses. You don't have to remember every detail, she won't expect you to.
Call her the next day, to say "hi" and to see when she is free for another date.

Was just flicking through the June issue of 'Silicon Chip' magazine (yes I'm a geek ). A product on the market called the Laser Turntable. It plays records with a laser sylus which reads the record grooves with light.
As there is no needle or anything making contact with the record, there is no wear or scratches happening during play. It replays the sound in analog form, not digital.
Ok, so it's been on the market since 1989, and the starting price is $9,900 US. But... it was $15,000 not long ago and keep in mind a cd burner in the early nineties set you back $30,000 then.
Think it might catch on?

Why label it a cult?

it just seems to polarize people and ostracize those who aren't ready or willing to label it a cult.
anyone can look up the dictionary definition of a cult (or experts' definitions).

I say it is a cult, no question.
Just ordered a couple of books, Crisis Of Conscience and In Search Of Christian Freedom. Should have them in a couple of weeks, can't wait to start reading...
