This study article is written to make parents feel guilty if their children aren't out pioneering. My oldest daughter (now 33) showed no interest whatsoever, and I spent many a sleepless night wondering where I went wrong.
I'm so glad to be free of such worries. In JW land you are considered nothing unless you are "reaching out" for "privileges" and receiving the "warm commendation" of the "brotherhood" for so doing.
The guilt trips they lay on everyone is just terrible. Come, Lord Jesus, with your double-edged sword and smite them hip and thigh! Amen.

Something I noticed in the famous "1975" Watchtower article...
by B_Deserter ini decided to read for myself the articles my father and mother were reading during this interesting time in witness history.
i stumbled upon the following paragraph that scared the bejeezus out of me: .
"one thing is absolutely certain, bible chronology reinforced with fulfilled bible prophecy shows that six thousand years of mans existence will soon be up, yes, within this generation!

This is not the time to be toying with the words of Jesus that “concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matt. 24:36) To the contrary, it is a time when one should be keenly aware that the end of this system of things is rapidly coming to its violent end. Make no mistake, it is sufficient that the Father himself knows both the “day and hour”!" - The Watchtower, "Why Are You Looking Forward to 1975?", August 15, 1968
If there is nothing else to seal the doom of the WTS, the above words would be enough. It's as if they are challenging Jesus! How in the world did one person (Fred Franz) claim such authority? It's no wonder they are going to begin publishing an in-house edition of the Watchtower. However, it's a case of repairing the dyke after the flood. The damage has already been done.

I didn't believe Jesus was talking about the generation of 1914 when He said, " this generation will by no means pass away until all things occur."
I didn't believe the "woman" of Revelaton chapter 12 is Jehovah's wife-like heavenly organization.

E-watchman says Ray Franz is 'animalistic' LOL!
by yaddayadda inin a critique of 'captives of a concept', robert king accuses anyone who can't get past all of the watchtower society's 'obstacles' as animalistic and lacking spirituality, including don cameron and ray franz.
it's mindblowing how this bloke can consistently call the watchtower leaders liars, blind, false prophets, dishing up vomitous things, etc, yet continue to preach that they are still a 'faithful steward' uniquely appointed by christ.
so, while it is true that jehovahs witnesses have not come to know the judgment of jehovah, cameron is similarly captive to a concept; and hence, ignorant of jehovahs judgment.

Curse you watchtower charlatans I curse you to your God Jehovah and call down evil on you,Amen.
You da man, Danny-Nanny, you da man. Just how long do they think they can keep up the charade?
I was baptized in 1974 and had no idea they had prophesied to such an extent. They are deceivers and to paraphrase Mary Magdalene's words at John 20:2: They have taken our Lord away and won't say where they have laid Him.

Ah yes, the Salon Association. Pilgrims and colporteurs could order nice clothing so as to look their best when canvassing.
History can be unsparing, can it not?
