My fantasy is to ride up on a motocycle, full helmet and jacketed with boots, walk in, sit down and have Bible and literature on Galaxy tablet that I pull out of my saddlebag, and bumfuzzle the hell out of them and say "what a nice church" as I depart.

Watchtower drops the name "Sparlock" from new kids DVD......say hello to "MITADOOR."
by Witness 007 inat my moms i watched the video in croatian and as i waited for the now famous "sparlock" line...it was replaced by "mitadoor.
" there is no grammatical reason why they cant use the name sparlock....perhaps for legal reasons as a company has that name....and ofcourse you guys made it famous on youtube!

Watchtower god and Watchtower Jesus are so strange to wrap my mind around.
If Michael transferred his "life force" into the ovum that Mary was carrying, and if life force is impersonal energy that carries no memories or consciousness, then Michael would have been dead, and Jesus would not have the attributes that made Michael an intelligent being. Jesus would have no memory of being Michael, so what was the point of using that particular life force instead of one from a pig or snake or rooster? It's all the same, like electricity. It would also mean that Michael commited suicide, or Watchtower god murdered him. Which was it? Also, when you read the account of Mary conceiving, you have Mary present, God is present, and holy spirit is present, with no mention of Michael. If you follow Watchtower reasoning on this, it would have to be holy spirit who was transferred into Mary to make Jesus. During my study I pointed this obvious state of affairs out and the men insisted it was Michael, so I suspected them of being brain damaged or something, but I kept that to myself.

remebrance day (also known as poppy day or armistice day) is a memorial day observed in commonwealth countries since the end of world war i. to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.. "in flanders fields" .
in flanders fields the poppies blow.

Where did this "God lives in the Pleiades" notion come from?
by james_woods inthe other thread with this name in the title made me think of it again.. i know the witnesses used to say this - and for sure, there are other religions that think this as well.. the fundy-baptist preacher that my sister got to do my fathers funeral made a big deal of it during the service - (why, i cannot fathom...).. so, can some kind scholar here give us a short course in why this particular star formation is so most holy?.

I saw the Pleiades last night. It is a small dipper looking cluster of stars in the east a few hours after sunset. Right now it has a very bright "star" near it, which is actually Jupiter.

they read me the letter from the wt.
it basically said that they were happy about my recommendation but they couldnt accept the recommendation of a 16 year old that i should wait until i was at least 17. of course i was not 16. the problem is that in spanish you write the day first the month after.

Wheee. I just downloaded and burnt the mint linux to a dvd. Booted from that, and here i am. How cool is that?
Very cool. It looks like it has a software center like Ubuntu, so it would be worthwhile to get some apps that are useful to you. Even the Calibre e-book manager program has been ported to linux.

Every patch they make reminds me of a software patch that repairs a bug, but causes some other parts of code to go haywire. Eventually the software gets so buggy that it needs a fresh rewrite from the ground up. These Watchtower clowns sorely need to start at Genesis 1:1 and gothrough and rewrite the whole code from the ground up, decide what to make literal, what to make symbolic, but most of all make it cehesive and self consistent. Sure, they will lose a bunch of people, but they have a core of koolaide drinkers that would not even bat an eye at Watchtower 3.0. They could leave out trinity and hellfire, and still do just fine, but they need to do something soon and do it right.
