hello everyone just wanted to relate a situation that occurred a few days ago.
so i have quit going to meetings for a few months now based on some issues i have with the explanations of current doctrines.
my wife is none too happy with this but over the last few months we have had some date nights and have tentitively agreed to disagree.
That is one seriously disloyal wife you have, going and telling those men about your private lawful conduct you do in your own home.
It's none of their business and you are under no obligation to talk with them. And her, I find that conduct untrustworthy.

Since his body is laid out on the slab, and his spirit returns to God, but is nothing but a life force and does not contain his personality, the WT teaches that God has all his memories copied and stored somewhere. I am not making this up. So a body will be made that can endure the extremes of pressure and radiation in Heaven, and his memories will be downloaded into that body Battlestar Galactica Cylon style. The copy will have memories so detailed that it will sincerely believe it lived on Earth even though it never did.
I am not making this up. But the Watchtower did.

It's very creepy. The title of youth who put God first evokes images of putting aside paper route money to donate to the ministry, or something like that. Then a reading of the article describes a disgusting practice of child sacrifice because these people are tricked into it by some crafty Bible interpretation. Religion just can't get more foul than that.

i know this topic has been discussed before on this forum, but as it goes in jw world we need reminders.. co said in his last talk i can't remember the title in speaking about jesus, that when jesus returned to heaven he resumed his name michael.
jesus was his earthly name.. through the entire rest of the bible after his ressurection not one reference is made about this.
case in point----when jesus oh wait michael pulled saul over and talked to him, he introduced his self as jesus.
