  New light on generation teaching in Feb 15 Watchtower ?

  greetings jwd community, it has been quite some time since i have checked in hear.

  i guess that is a sign that i have deprogrammed from my 40 years in the org and loving life like never before.. anyway, i get a call from an active jw family member today who tells me there is new light in the feb 15 wt on the generaton teaching.

  i looked back through a few pages of post titles and did not see anything related to this topic.

  What do you think about Demons now?

  hi guys!.

  as many of you know, i'm still inside the borg, but my mind is completely disconnected.

  i had a chat with some friends during the week, and they started sharing experiences they had, dealing with demons in the past.. i heard some stories from brothers from cuba, that used to be mediums or "saints", and how the demons "immediately started to attack them when they started learning the truth(tm)".

  perfect discussion since i'm reading 'letters from earth' by mark twain, where satan is writing to god about humans' misconceptions of demons and heaven.

  very funny.

  a lot of the 'experiences' i've heard seem to happen in bed, which might mean the person is still in a dream state or having realistic dreams that feel like they really happened. throw a dash of propaganda and 'oh we're coming over right now to pray for you' and i can see people thrown for a loop.

  personally, i don't discount if there are some type of spirits or something going on that we don't understand, and if there is a god i'm suckerpunching him before asking questions.....too bad people

  i was curious as to the reason people were given for this.

  and i can't help but think of those that will be trying to get a job in this economy, with few skills and probably no college education.

  don't they also give them some bs that says, we trained you to be ______, so when you go out into the 'world' you should be able to get a job in publishing.

  and publishers are always looking for people to fill positions from the wtbts since the quality of the magazine, and journalistic integrity and thorough research before spinning all 'worldly' sources to fit their mold.....you know what i mean.

  seriously, the national enquirer has more journalistic integrity than the wt.

  another reason they don't want you to go to school, to be more educated than the self righteous janitors responsible for most of the content of the publication.

  fertile ground for mental illness....but all they need is the bible to get rid of mental illness, because jehovah will cure anything mentally, just like he can cure other diseases like cancer, famine, aids.....oh wait, he can cure them, he just chooses not to for some reason.

  keep everyone running in circles, they might not go on those pesky vacations that might even include missing one of the five meetings.

  miss one of those and they might start thinking for themselves.

  we should have the dates set up here as an open forum for women and children of elders to join and ask questions. :)

  I don't want to worship a God that.............

  would kill billions of people for any reason.. would require family members to not speak to a member of their own family.. would require a parent to stone a child for being a bad boy.. would require probably millions of animals to be slaughtered and make smoke for him.. would let a rapist of a young girl have the privilege of marrying her.. would let mankind suffer for thousands of years to prove something to his heavenly creatures.. would let horrible "natural" tragedies occur, killing millions of people, when they don't have to happen.. would communicate to mankind by writing to them.....but not keep any originals around....like pyramids.. would want to be worshiped in the first place.....i just don't get it........................you can add your own if you want..........oompa.

  who puts a fruit tree right in front of a married couple that he created with free will and natural curiosity and tells them they shouldn't eat the yummy, juicy fruit that is like no other in the garden and just because its sparkly and animals will talk to you around it doesn't mean i was kidding.

  and then decides to punish every human to ever exist because one married couple took a bite.

  eh, who knows, they define loose conduct so .....loosely.... it can be for whatever reason they want.

  smoking cigars, but i know many pioneers and bros who were in good standing and doing that every once in a while when i was still in....but i didn't participate at the time.

  other than that, oh, they tried to get me on what i do for work, which is a creative profession, and they don't take kindly to anything that can have a rated-r tag to it.....so being in the public and promoting certain things, they'd be up my ass about.....and were years before i left, when i denied my profession for some years to appease the short-jealous janitors.

  Questioning the 144K

  i've been considering the teachings of the 144k by the borg and am wondering why they allow women to partake especially considering revelation 14:4 which pretty much says the 144k are men who are virgins.

  have any of you given this any thought?.

  i have gone thru phases with this.

  i sometimes have forced jw's who shun me to speak, or be embarrassed if they don't.

  then i let up on that as the hurting lessened over time.

  i ignored idiots in my hall when i was still active who treated me bad, then i got married and they tried to make nice, but i still looked at them like they were scumbags and walked away.

  one elder couldn't even look me in the eyes b/c he knew how wrong they were to be on my ass when i wasn't doing anything wrong....it used to crack my wife up b/c he'd be so nervous around me, when he used to try to pull elder status on me when i was single and then realized he had no clue as to who i was and the prejudice they had against me.

  good times.

  now that i've been outta there.

  Upcoming Elders Schooling

  it's no secret that the "organization" has increased it's cia, national security clerance only super-secret attitude in regards to the elder school that is going to be conducted soon.

  a few days ago, i had a conversation with an elder who has been in the fold all of his life practically.

  in keeping with the conversation style of jws, the gentleman told me that nobody knows what exactly will be taught at the meetings, but in his backdoor conversations with some brothers who seem to be tuned into the bethel's officially, unofficial, communications network, the elders are going to be taught "post-armageddon" teachings.

  i'm so glad there's elders on this board so we can get the inside scoop.

  it's the dangling carrot. just when you thought things were taking too long, it'll be here within four years. didn't that happen in 1971, and so many other times.

  that's why its important to study the history of jws and understand this pattern has been ongoing since the 1800's. psychics on montel have better percentage results of predicting the future than wtbts.
