I was chatting with an elder a few months ago and he spoke of a secret elders website that only privileged elders knew of. It is used to submit the monthly field service reports and other letters in. That is the 3rd time I heard about this and want to verify if any of you know about this.

More FEARmongering.....
by R.F. ini've missed meetings consistently for about 2 months now.
my ex-fiancee just left a energy-filled voicemail.
she said........... "please come back to the meetings!

The elders could have used your ex to play with your emotions and to reconsider your fade. Anything is possible with elders. Its good that you broke all ties to her, just move on and find a girl in outside of the organization.

what poster to you always check?
by nowisee inis there anyone, when you see they have posted, that you always check to see what they have to say?
i always check blondie, bebu, alanf, farkel, onacruse, aguest (and probably others).
bc what they say has some gravity, some enlightenment, some knowledge, some insight.

I don't care who the poster is, just the content of what that person posted

"The Sound of Music" not theocratic enough?
by Frequent_Fader_Miles inone of the local congregations is having a farewell "concert" for their co who's leaving.
of course, the book study conductor felt obligated to take control by appointing himself screener of all performances before the event (how shocking!
what's wrong with the song as is?

Harcore JWs are always in a hurry to condemn all music and replaced it with KM songs that many of them cannot sing in the first place. JW's condemnation of others is okay in their books but when others condemn their destructive teachings, they complain their rights are being abused. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Only someone who is lying is afraid of what others have to say. This is a desperate organization who is deploying nefarious schemes to control its members even more.

ANNOUNCEMENT: "Special" Awake! for November. Confidential ;-)
by BFD ini was asked to post this by a paranoid jwder.
i'm an elder and have stated as much on this board.
call me paranoid, but i'd rather not stick my head up and say "hey bethel monitors, come after this guy!

The special awake should be retitled 'Can You Trust the FDS?' and throughout this rag will be 31 pages of mind damaging garbage

Coquitlam To Ban "Front Door Pests" But Excludes JWs

There was another poll done that not too many people know of unless they are from the Lower Mainland. The radio station asked 'would you want the ban extended to include religious groups', not surprisingly, last I heard there was 91% in favor of that ban. Living in Coquitlam, I can see this coming. People are perturbed at best. Many of the townhome complexes have 'No Trespassing' and that means nobody other than residents and their visitors can go in. The territory is often converted to phone. Don't you just love it when enjoying a well-cooked dinner and the phone rings? In Canada we need the do-not-call registry and with clear punishments such as fines to those that don't abide to it. People just need to make a big sign 'No Jehovah's Witnesses on the Property'. JWs are like slugs that harm the garden.

the Pioneer Service Application
by R.F. ini remember when filling this out some time back that one of the questions it had was something along the lines of......... "do you trust in the "faithful and discreet slave" and recognize it as god's sole channel of spiritual truth?.
someone correct for any needed changes to that question.... why ask prospective pioneers this?.
is there any other reason or something pertaining to any legal ramifications as to why they would ask this?.

I remember vaguely that question when filling that application out when I was still intoxicated with spirits after a night of drinking with the guys.

What Do You Think of Lying?
by Sarah Smiles inhow many people trust elders?.
today an elder said,"elders lie because human imperfection!".
i said,"so your excuse is human imperfections for elders to lie, yet they disfellowship people on human imperfections all the time.".

I work for a brother one time and he was a MS. He lied to the government about his buisness taxes. Still was able to serve as MS even after the government found him out. Straight down from the GB, DO, CO, elders, MS, R&F lies are commonplace. In my own eyes, I don't see much difference between those in the organization and those that they deem 'wordly'.

How to open a JWs mind
by jwfacts ini posted a similar article a year ago, but have cut it down by half, so thought it worth posting again for those that are looking for a place to start discussing the fallacy of watchtower doctrine with family.
there is no guaranteed way to open a jw mind.
however, it is generally more effective to avoid discussing doctrine and rather concentrate on the concept that jesus chose the watchtower society as his sole organization in 1919. i hope this may help some of you.

Its not a good idea to attack a JW's faith, that will close their mind fast. Any attacks are a sign to them that they are being persecuted in Jehovah's name.
In a tactful way, sow the seeds of doubt a little at a time and they will eventually start to fade, we hope.
