Rekindled Light — The Narrative Structure of the Hexaemeron (Genesis 1:1–31)
by Mebaqqer2 ini used to comment here many years ago when i had an interest in biblical research in relation to jehovah’s witnesses.
these days my biblical research is little concerned with jehovah’s witnesses.
i feel my time is better spent researching the diachronistic development of the biblical text and ascertaining what the biblical writers and editors intended in the times in which they lived.. i have recently placed a summary diagram for a paper that i have written with original research entitled the narrative structure of the hexaemeron on academia.edu.

The Words of Junzo Akashi
by Mebaqqer2 inthree years ago, in a 2008 post ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/162584/1/partial-translation-of-possible-sans-page ), i gave a partial translation of "the words of junzo akashi" which appear on a page created by possible-san ( http://godpresencewithin.web.fc2.com/pages/jw/akashijunzo.html ).. recently, possible-san asked "would you give me the permission which publishes your translation regarding 'junzo akashi' on my website?
" ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/bible/221521/1/the-queer-translation-by-the-japan-branch ).
in answer to possible-san, no.

Can you say plagiarism?
by Mebaqqer2 inso i ran across this statement today in doing some research:.
take, for instance, the stories and legends regarding the origin of man.
although details vary, the belief that man was made from the dust of the earth is widespread.

Chance find at the flea market
by Mebaqqer2 ini found something at the flea market today...two, not bound volumes...but individual magazines (watchtower and awake for the year 1974) each in a blue bundling folder.
the folders have "watchtower" and "awake" embossed on the front and in gold lettering on the spine with "watch tower bible & tract society" at the bottom of the spine.
who ever put these together, however, put the entire year of awake!

J28 reference?
by Mebaqqer2 ini have seen on several websites lists of sources for readings in the new world translation which seem to have been cut-and-pasted from the wtlib cd.
i noticed, however, that some of these lists give an additional j-source (j28) not found in my english editions.
(j28 is said to be the new covenant commonly called the new testament: peshitta aramaic text with a hebrew translation.

partial translation of possible-san's page
by Mebaqqer2 inwell, everyone was wondering about what the japanese text said on the page possible-san referenced (http://godpresencewithin.web.fc2.com/pages/jw/akashijunzo.html) so i worked on translating it.
i placed it here rather than his post as his post has ready scrolled out of the new topic area and i wasn't sure if anyone would see.
anyways, here is the first part.... the words of junzo akashi.

by Mebaqqer2 infor those who might be interested in seeing the greek texts of patristic works, i just found migne volumes on google books.
these works were produced in the 1800's so for many of the works, there are no doubt better editions out there (i personally use the tlg cd).

Willing to part with the Kingdom Interlinear (1985)?
by Mebaqqer2 ini was just wondering if anyone had a copy of the kingdom interlinear of the christian greek scriptures (1985) that they would be willing to part with (either don't need it or have an extra copy).
i think the price on amazon is excessive ($49.99 used.
older, 1969 edition is cheaper at $28.00 used!!!).
