  I can't wait to see what the WT response to this will be now that they too have paid millions to victims.

  Difference is that WT paid gag money, and swept it under the carpet, I just hope it all comes to the front soon.

  One victim said it was not about the money and spoke up, but that is just one victim, many will take the gag (hush) money and say nothing, that opens the way for fraudulence as some will just go for the money and have a very weak case. To pay this gag money shows that the WTS was in deep sh*t, if this is true I hope they sink in it.

  Could this be a possibility...?

  funny how all religions share very similiar things - flood, giants, battle between gods, etc.

  could basic truths be hidden in the records of the ancients, either through the bible, etc.?

  could earth have been visited by a race who who helped or enslaved man, who in turn recorded these in glyphs, and ancient texts - and are the best attempts the authors could make to make sense of an advanced technology?

  i mean, religions.. while i am far from being anti-religious, organized religion, especially of the more 'fundamental' sort, is all beginning to blend into the same puddle for me.

  i have not given up on god, or spirituality, and in fact still consider myself christian.

  i just don't feel any desire at this point to participate in the formal nature of religious groups at all.

  There are many spiritually minded and good people in the JW org; unfortunately the org has become corrupted, the emphasis on obeying the WTBS is idoltry and many are in fear of speaking their minds, a lot do not believe that what he GB is doing is right, they stay because they hope Jehovah will clean the org up, they stay because they believe in and love Jehovah. Some stay out of fear of being shunned by their family, others because they need to stay at home to be supported and still others because they LIKE it that way, this later group will be in for a huge shock when the WT comes down. As for me I stay put in the org, and occasionly go out witnessing speak only about Christs Kingdom and other upbuilding aspects of it.

  I firmly believe in the bible and believe that Jehovah will set matter right soon.

  Pity they forgot the rest of the scripture "but is patient because he desires all to attain to repentance". This is definitely not the message the JWs preach. Each day that Jehovah waits there are an additional 200,000 babies born that don't join the Watchtower Society and hence Jehovah is going to have to kill.

  The start of the end of this system as we know it will be the fall of the WT society, the judging of Gods house, a lot of JW will be completely stumbled and thrown into confusion, if you read Ezekiel chap; 13 does not apply to Christedom, that is the problem with the WT interpretations of the scriptures they apply all the judgements and punishments to Christedom where is directed to Gods house, the ones that bear his name, Christedom were never in a covenant with Jehovah.

  After that fall of the WTS and GB a new era of clean worship and many will stream to the org a different and cleaned out organization, and people will know who the true God is as well as the witnesses. They will been humbled.

  Many believe Christs presence is not far of , (another erroneous JW teaching 1914) and the first thing Christ will do is clean out his own house. People may not believe that the witnesses could be Gods house, but they were the only ones teaching thar fundamental teachings of hell fire, trinity, heaven , hell and all the pagan teachings they corrected, and they did identify themselves as representing Jehovah by taking his name and becoming his witnesses, preaching Gods Kingdom, and basically that is all the work that is required of a Christian is to preach Gods Kingdom as Christ said to do, not all the other forms of slavery this corrupt org GB inflicks on Jehovahs people.

  So 2Peter 3:9 will be fullfilled where many will run into the mountain and be saved through the blood of the lamb, those that seek Jehovah and their families will be saved.

  Do you think the GB was/is that smart?

  in pondering all of the hundreds of examples of manipulation, lying, controlling the governing body is responsible for, i often wonder, are they really that smart?

  what i mean is, did they set out 100 years ago to systematically gain this much control and power over its minions?

  have they had an evil plan all along, with the purpose of absolute control?

  I think Russell was a truth seeker, his father owned a few shops and left them to him, but he used his own money to set up the wathchtower, he never endorsed an organization or a GB to control the flock. It was that drunkard Rutherford that hyjacked the faith, he set himself up above everyone else, bought in the elitism of the 144,000 which seperated the sheep into two different groups one superior than the other, It was the 144,000 for the sheep not the other way around.

  This governing body is unscriptual and a pushing ahead, the teaching of the scriptures have mainly been directed to Christedom instead of the JW's themselves, they are beyond reproach and a legend in their own minds. Many have been stumbled because of this NGO thing and the child abuse cases, they have a lot to answer to the master for. But weather we allow that to stumble us away from Jehovah is a personal choice, I take it that looking at how he dealt with the Isreal nation of old can be safly the outcome for the WT in the very near future.

  JW Atttitude toward Illegal Immigrants

  i have a jw friend that is letting an illegal immigrant live with him.

  the brothers in his hall know his status (i wouldn't be surprised if half of them were illegal as well) but mention nothing about "obeying caesar's laws.

  anybody else ever notice this?

  I remember reading a Watchtower on this very issue many, many years ago. The gist of the article was that the individual's immigration status was a personal matter and the congregation did not need to turn the individual in to the authorities. Can anyone else remember this - or even other -articles on the matter

  Ok. but doesn't mean you take them into you're house and support or condon their crime. What about the having this one marked and bad association and all that crap, if someone has a cigerette they are demons, but you can break bread with an illigal imagrant, typical WT unfairness and their sense of justice has always been self serving.

  i'll start with my congregation....... there have been about 7 disfellowshippings in my congregation alone within the last year.

  over half the congo is inactive and many more are irregular pubs.

  young people in the congo are dropping like flies.

  It is difficult to comprehend how judicial action can be taken against those who willfully commit tax-evasion or corporate fraud, but none is taken against adults who willfully violate immigration laws (such as working "under the table" without paying certain taxes). The JW are breaking the law full stop. I can't understand how in go faith any of the witnesses that go to the hall can sing praises to Jehovah in one breath and condon this blatant tax fraud. I'm sorry for the ones that came as a child, and others that are illigal should be told to go back they have halls in their country, how can they study, get baptised and continue to be a cheat. Bring on the judgement to the tower.

  Witnesses get disfellowshiped only if they PRACTICE the sin....if they have a couple of transfusions out of fear of life they don't get disfellowshiped if it is prolonged then maybe, I have never know any witness other than apostacy be disfellowiped for anything other than practice (willfull sin) or attitude against the organization. Not saying it is right, just pointing out what I know from my own experiences of myself and others.

  went to the bookstudy this morning.

  the study talked about false religion and war and how other religions are killing each other and also jw's for not going to war.

  there was many comment of how many early jw's served time or were executed for not going to war.

  The WBT$ owns 50% of the Rand Cam Engine Corp..Rand Cam recieved a 500 million dollar contract from the US Navy.....Jehovah`s Witness`s don`t go to war..But..The Anti-Christ organization that runs them the WBT$,is invested in war

  WTBTS and the GB have a lot to answer for,,,,,and no doubt when the true presence of Christ comes they will be cleaned out.....they have bought reproach on his name but their disgusting dealings with worldy UN and their lack of concern for child abuse victims....what a heavy load of sin to carry. I pity them.
