Naturally the book brings out that it was christendom that roused the authorities up against the Society and had them wrongly incarcerated (after a wrongful trial of course) on false charges of sedition. Can anyone give me some info to use that can be documented of course so that I can refute this nonsense at the book study. I have seen stuff in the past when lurking but have had to replace a lot of stuff on the computer because of problems on it. If anyone help I would sure appreciate it, there is nothing more I like than to refute a lot of their nonsense and point out that a lot of what they are saying is nothing more than speculation. I have read/heard of it somewhere where those accused of sedition once in prison were not let loose while awaiting on appeals just as those in the society in prisoned were not given bail when awaiting on their appeal.
Any information on the amount of people and groups who were tried (i.e. quakers amish etc.) and imprisoned due to the sedition act.
