i've found that even though i was raised a jw, but never baptized, i'm pretty much still shunned.
i can still talk to them, but they pretty much they still treat me the same.
My JW business partner only calls me when there is work or money. I told him in September that I no longer wish to discuss the Watchtower propaganda because of all the discrepancies and pedophiles.
He is thankfully the only Witness I know and am glad he does not talk to me any more outside of work. His bs attitude and arrogance is not what I would have expected from a "bible student".

i've had something happen to me at work and i just need some opinions .... i work at a store where i am the only female employee.
we were short handed these past two weeks because someone quit and the new guy doesn't start until monday so they got a guy from another store to come fill in.
i hardly know this guy except for him talking to me about business related things.
Odd question to ask someone you know nothing of. Years ago I "rode" on many, but it meant at the time-pestering( like as in ragging on someone). However it seems to have a different meaning now. Hope it was just "ragging".
Nowadays I speak on personal terms (only) to people I have known for a long time. All others I keep the jokes and frank talk to a minimum or none at all. Keeps me out of trouble.

as a volunteer donor i received this in the mail sometime ago.
it has my blood type, id number, and a barcode, etc.
I have a Canadian Blood Services card. A pos. Donated 39 times. 5 times in 2007. Hope to make it to 100 before I am cut off. My witness buddy asked me how much I get paid!! I told him in Jesus dollars a lot. In Canadian, nada! Stupid question.

at that time i was going to the catholic church and i had baptized my daughters.
my exact words to her were, "well, being that if it weren't for the catholic church there would be no "bible" i have allowed the girls to get baptized catholic and that's the way i'm leaning.
