My JW bud was broke-ass 5 years ago, still broke today. Still has no life outside, still expecting to go soon. Maybe that's why he's broke.

Did you notice any change in lifestyle of JW's throughout the years ??
by JH inwhen i joined in the late 80's most witnesses didn't own a house, today, more than half does.

when i joined, sisters pioneered because they didn't work, today most sisters work and don't pioneer.. jw families had 1 car per family, today most jw couples each have a car.. .

What about the virus that causes aids? If there is no evolution, then God must have "intelligently designed" it. Is there something wrong with that thought? Couldn't possibly have evolved?

Cat pee
by noni1974 inomg i'm so pissed at my cat baby.he has this thing he does when the cat box needs changed.he pees on my clothes and on my bedding.i usually don't know he's doing it till it's to late.. last week i had just changed my bedding and put my 300.00 comferter on my bed for winter.i just climbed in my bed to go to sleep.my cat gets up on the bed and pees on me.. i know what your thinking get rid of the cat he's got a problem.but i can't who would adopt a cat who's a known pee er?
?he only does this when the cat box is really bad.i'm usually on top of it but there are times when i get home and i'm too tired to change the cat box.. so now i'm trying a new cat litter.i tried feline pine.now i'm trying a cat litter made of recycled news paper.it's called yesterdays news.so far i like it better then feline pine because i hate the smell of the pine cat litter.it smells like i have giant hamsters living with me.. now i'm left with cleaning up the pee smell out of my comferter.i bought some vinager because another poster told me it gets pee and other oders out of fabric.i'm soaking the comferter in it now and i will leave it soaking till monday.my comferter is too big to just throw in a washer and wash.i need to take it to a laundry mat and put it in a washer that can wash 4 loads at once.. does anyone else have any tips for me.number one to get the smell out if the vinager doesn't work and number two to get him to pee where he's supposed to..

If you keep the lid down, how can you teach my kitty to pee in the toilet? She's not smart enough to lift it up. Probably would fall in .She ocasionally drinks from the fish tank. Yum.

We have 4 watering bowls in our house and 3 of them flush, so there's no point to teach a cat like ours to take a dump in a bowl she for some wierd reason thinks is a watering bowl. Too freaking unsanitary, and how do you stop a cat from drinking out of a toilet bowl, then try to teach to do a #1 and a #2?

by the widow inbecause of my background with the witless ones, when my husband died it was hard to believe he was in heaven.
i could hope there is a heaven for those who die.

Sherri Shepard EXJW On "The View"
by Sunspot ini am watching this program....and sherri shepard just said she was raised as a jw and how strict their beliefs were.
she was asked what jws believe---and she answered that they teach that when jesus comes back to destroy the earth, that only jws will be allowed to live on the new earth that will be made.. she also said how she hated going out on saturday mornings to knock on doors, and that it was tough when her father got disassociated (she had to stop and explain what that meant) and that she could no longer talk to him.. a lot of women (who are at home :o) watch this show.....and i am applauding her saying this so all who are watching this will hear these two points and remeber them the next time jws call at their houses!.
facts that only jws will be saved when jesus comes back---and jws told not to speak to those who leave or are kicked out of the religion.....two great points to be aired like this on national tv!.

I haven't had the opportunity to talk with a street "witness" for about 16 years. Back then there was an old lady walking the parking lot at my shop, and ocassionally she would aproach, but I shunned her endlessly. (funny I didn't even realize I was actually doing that). I haven't had a single "witness" come a knocking at home either. Now with all the ammo I have acumulated from the net and here, I just can't wait for one to aproach me. I'm waiting- - -waiting- - -still waiting. Maybe they have given up our neck of the woods. Too many miscelaneous faiths here.

I am currently listening to the sound of air rushing through the furnace ducts in the house. It is a bit below freezing outside, and the moon is bright overhead. Heard a whack of Christmas music at the grocery store a few hours earlier. I always enjoyed listening to Phil Spector Christmas music, 'till he became pond scum and a murderer. Night all. ZZZZZZ.

What to really expect from the JW's from the latest News
by restrangled inas wonderful as the coverage was concerning abuse of children in the watchtower organization, i think most of us deep down know that it will be ignored, denied and/or described as apostate lies.. the most we can hope for is enlightenment of the general public to the fact that jw's are no different than any of the other religions they point fingers at.
it will make it more difficult to get a listening ear at the door.. the jw's exist in a very small world.
they are taught anything not coming from headquarters is basically lies.. any mistakes made were due to old light, or as i have heard from my own relatives...."well, the entire world didn't know any better so the "organization" is just catching up like everyone else.
