by Duncan ini received my copy of barbara andersons cd paedophilia in an american religion a month or two ago, and i have been reading through it since.. what follows, although i have called this a review, is in no sense a scholarly consideration of the legal merits of the cases described, a task for which i am wholly unqualified.
these are, rather, my subjective reflections on the material presented, the impressions i gathered while reading the legal filings, my untrained, common-man appraisal of the cases laid out in those documents.
ill also admit to being swayed by tone of voice adopted, and to using my own common-sense yardstick in determining the reasonableness of the statements made, the responses given and the arguments put forward.

Mainstream view on JWism is not very flattering . Most people see them as misguided simpletons who just don't get it.
The only ones I can think of would be Oprah or DR.phil
Perhaps if someone wrote an impassioned plea to either it would garner a responce.
dunno JWism has really only affected a section of society that most people just don't feel needs help.

Hmmm I don't exactly qualify as a christian although I do agree completely with the message Jesus gave .The book of thomas is quite intresting.
I've studied Buhdda, Hinduism , Muslims ,Jews .Christianity even a couple of wierd Christian sects Nihlism , Elitism, Humanism , Bull jism and just about any kind of ISM imaginable and have come to a conclusion, ,,,,
They are like the sides of a box that has instuctions on how to open it written on all sides and no side by itself can tell you how to get it open
They all point to the same thing but in incomplete ways , Kabbalah isn't actually a religion allthough it is in a lot of hebrew texts . It is more of a method to understand the nature of a human Just as Buhddism is not really a religion as it is also a method to understanding our Humaness

Drug Addiction- Meth addiction, Did You Know Someone Addicted? Dangerous!
by flipper ini felt it was good to start a thread on this as methamphetamine addiction has become one of the most abused drugs in our society.
unfortunately, from what i've heard is it is relatively cheap to make , not as expensive as other drugs, and highly addictive once a person is " hooked" they have an extremely hard time getting off it.
crank or speed as it is called makes people highly aggressive, mean spirited, and can make them violent.

It's just that easy,one bad choice followed by another, soon it's a physical dependency , it's not fun anymore, it just takes and takes until you are all taken, empty inside looking out while the world goes on , no one wants me or loves me , I'm dead inside ,the only thing that numbs the pain is more of what is killing me.
That is the most dark and hopeless place, the living death that is the existence of an addict.
Been one . been a liar and thief . done unspeakable things that took parts of my soul and burned them in front of me,
Only one thing can save an addict LOVE
It's easy to hate what you don't understand , but it's hard to love all that pain away, it's really hard to forgive yourself and love yourself.
I'm recovering and things do get normal, better than normal if you learn the lesson that addiction is.
To all the fallen , may the Creator show you mercy and save you from yourself
