okay, my parents became witnesses when i was 3 or 4. i remember them both getting baptized together.
i have 3 little ones and they were all 2.5 years apart at that time.

Most people need a story to believe in something , They need to reason it into the scope of understanding , unfortunately, that reduces things to the lowest common denominator.
People are so used to the story that their mind is constantly telling them about whatever is going on ,that it makes it easy to believe other story's from outside the mind.
An undisciplined mind is like a poorly done roof and any old thing can get in.
No understanding of self = Gullible,misinformed,chasing imaginary needs rather than real needs.
A common downfall is letting the world shape us instead of doing the shaping ourself . Mental laziness leads to a lot of wasted lives and potential.

Get a fake one with lights !!
Real trees are a complete waste and a hassle to boot , unless you like to go and cut down your own , you know have a little adventure in the forest with friends and family, that is a lot of fun, even though that real tree will still be waste and a pain in the butt.
Endless pine needles , don't forget the tree food in the water , cats love drinking that stuff so watch out cause that same cat will prolly like climbing the real tree too cause it smells like outside.

not that i want to or anything, but this therapist guy seems to think that it would be really helpful to my wife.
he says to pull out the good and ignore what you dont like, and that supporting my wife a bit in this way could be good for us as a couple.
it could also let us have at least some shot at keeping the old social life alive.
I think maybe your therapist is out of line. A good therapist never ever tells you what to do , never, they let you come to the conclusion of what needs to be done on your own.
Maybe your therapist is letting too much of how they feel color their thoughts.
A good therapist teaches us how to cope with life by giving us tools to work with. Sounds like your therapist is offering an opinion rather than a principle, that is dangerous .
Follow your own heart oompa, your real heart, You all ready know what to do in there.

i'm saying this because the jw's always told me that they would give their lives for any brother or sister......can you feel the love... so, i was wondering if we have just as much love on jwd.
