  Counting Field Circus Time

  the other day someone posted the latest okm.

  it mentioned counting field circus hours and mentioned something about publishers who are allowed to count their time in 15 minute increments.

  i've been away from it all for years, but had never heard of this before?

  at costco with the wife buying half the store, but that's besides the point.

  go to the shortest checkout lane and i recognized the checker from my old jw days.

  she dated one of the brothers from my hall for awhile until she decided he wasn't spiritual enough.

  Disassociated with the JWs

  after having faded 12+ years ago, finally decided to da my-self.

  i haven't done it before, mainly because the jws have left me alone and have family that are heavily into the religion cult.

  in recent weeks i've had the "in" family go off the deep end with their actions increasing being rediculous.

  assembly conversation overheard.

  i really loved it.

  it seems to get better and better and more encouraging every year.. .

  just need to vent for a minute..... sister's husband out of work (both jdubs).

  it was suggested he go back to school and try to become a radiology tech.

  good money and fairly in demand around here.

  last of the system blah blah blah

  so a family member sends me an email from another witless about how we are living in the last hour of the system.

  they were approached at knife point (it was a plastic knife) during the middle of the afternoon at a grocery store.

  so the write goes on about how one should always get a store employee to walk you to your car and never ever go shopping at night.

  dinner tonight

  just had to share this..... had dinner at my jdub grandparents house tonight.

  my uncle was there (technically a jdub but is fading) sporting a nifty gray beard.

  he goes to a meeting and no one says anything (not that they go all that often or has any responsibilities).

  Merging Congregations

  i had dinner tonight with my jdub family.

  my sister commented how their congregation is shrinking by leaps and bounds...they are getting about 50 people attending the watchtower/public talk on sundays.

  one of their elders is moving out of the area and rumors abound they may merge with another cong due to low attendance.
