  To all those who support Evolution EXPLAIN this....

  think about this and close your eyes...think about what it is to have no existence for all existence..and nothing for all existence...notice how u cannot have both at the same time lol!

  that is crazy!

  that means if there was nothing for all existence..then it has to remain that way..and even if some particles or energy exploded to give life to earth and the planets..it still does not make sense to believe that a explosion can design humans or animals...thats just like saying i am gonna get a another house out of a explosion!

  Boo - Knowledge is Power. Read a book. You really are embarrasing yourself.

  On the other thread we tried to give you some pointers, but you didn't even grasp the simplest concept that "Evolution" has nothing to do with existence/non-existence. That is an entirely different subject (big bang). Really - move along and come back with an intelligent argument.

  I'll give you a head start so you don't get shot down so quick next time. Think through the counter-arguments before spouting off. If you believe that the big bang being kicked off would be a mystery without a god to do the kicking, then consider where did god come from? Another mystery huh. So you'll be replacing one mystery with another. Are you OK with that. If so - why? I'm smart enough to admit that I can't conclusively answer this one.

  Now here's the process - READ, THINK, POST, READ REPLIES, THINK, REPEAT. So far you're only doing the POST step.

  oh my god i love my husband!.

  okay...so my husbands favorite beer is called arrogant bastard by stone brewery.

  it usually only comes in the big bottle, but just recently started coming out in six packs..... so....today...we are leaving the house..and what do we see??

  Flimsy Excuses to Miss a Meeting

  we have seen that they are cracking down on skipping boasting sessions.

  i have seen that thread stating the three f's (fever, fracture, funeral) as the only valid excuses for missing one.

  and there are reports that the book study hounder will hound people for missing one.

  A congregation in my circuit rescheduled the Sunday meeting because a sports match was on. I think it was soccer world cup. The elders knew there would be too many missing, and thought it would be better to just have the meeting later in the day. It hit the fan when the CO found out what they did!

  Elder's Wife Apologizes In Tears for Shunning Me Yesterday

  had a really interesting experience i thought some here might like to hear about.

  my jw ex-wife and i still own a house together, (she lives in it and a non-jw adult son is living there with her temporarily), not to mention the three kids and seven grandkids we share, so we interact quite a bit, e-mailing, calling or seeing each other a few times a week or so.

  i'm still doing some remodeling to our house.

  it's strange and i'm not sure if it's because of my upbringing, but i just can't be pro-choice.

  i just don't see the rational justification (other than a situation where the mother's life is in danger).

  i don't, however, see a problem with stuff like the morning-after pill, when the embryo is just a group of cells with no consciousness.

  Do we know what type of person that produces? Yes we do - LINK HERE

  Where I live there are way more parents wanting to adopt than there are children being placed. Me and my wife would be happy to adopt, but there just aren't enough children to go around. We certainly would give one of these children a good home if given the opportunity.

  I'm not 100% against early pregnancy abortion (for rapes for example) or in cases where the mother will die otherwise. Its just that it worries me that our collective conscience as a society can be swayed by inconveniences and selfishness. Its easy for some to devalue someone elses life. But what happens whenever someone else decides to devalue yours?

  Luke - I think this oversimplifies things. There aren't just 2 options. If it weren't for "the truth" you mother may have still been a good person, she may have sought another environment to provide positive influences on you.
