  what a week this has been!.

  linda died.

  although i am still a relative newbie to this board and can't say i had the honour of knowing her, i am so touched at the outpouring of love that i have seen - and priviledged that i can be a member of this community!

  Sounds like you have every reason to be on that rollercoaster ride. Life certainly has it's ups & downs. For some blessed reason, it seems that too often for all the bad we experience in life, there always seems to be a positive outcome. And sometimes the negative things we experience can be seen in a positive way too. Of course some of the awful things you mentioned, we can't imagine what positive effect or outcome it can have for us. Maybe not always for us, but for others.

  Thanks for sharing with us your emotions. Maybe from here on out you'll have a brighter future? Let's hope!

  my heart says no let's all get along and love each other and show respect to the individual.. my mind says yes.

  I think it would be a normal reflex to seek revenge when harm is being done to a loved one. I don't think I could just sit back and let someone be harmed and let the abusers get away with it.

  The joke of the day. I was on my way home from work today and thought about this scripture, specifically the number of people in this world who have done exactly that and it got them NOWHERE! Is it any wonder people don't believe in God?

  I never noticed *blind*. Well, wherever the KH's had them hidden in the ones I was in, I have no idea. I see one major flaw in keeping such trash....

  If people were forgiven for something, according to the Bible, it supposed to be forgotten. Forgotten in my opinion means, NO EVIDENCE LEFT BEHIND!

  for those who know a little about my past and my mother - she had the nerve to call me today and leave an urgent message for me to call her.

  i thought it was about my dad or that something bad had happened since her last comment to me was that i was dead to her, or something to that effect.

  woman in shock after 7-foot python peeps through her toiletthursday october 18, 2007 this sounds like a made-up story just in time for halloween.

  but everyone's nightmare really happened to a new york city woman and she's still struggling to get over it.

  i had a dream that woke me from my sleep.

  i was with my husband at a beautiful hotel, somewhere by a beach.

  we were at check in and i noticed how everything had this maddening order.

  Sounds like he was using you and the others as excuses to get out from among the Jdubs. If he felt anything for you at all, he could want to come back to you. It's up to you what you do then. Keep saying your prayers, it's all you can do besides moving onwards yourself. Good Luck!

  Its the Year 2008 and the Apostates are having a Party (Doctrine Changes!)

  having just read the 'exciting announcements at the service meeting' topic i am one happy apostate!.

  i wanted to see how you would put these changes into conversation while speaking to a jehovah's witness?.

  for example for myself' talking with my mum recently, she told me that gifts like tongues, prophecy, healing etc have stopped and this was mainly because the ones doing these things were annointed ones.. yes i accept this wouldn't stand as it is because actually, there are still annointed ones but why haven't we an outburst of different miracles now because hey, we are all potential annointed ones...i might start claiming to be a annointed to mum lol, tell her i left because i felt annointed but was forced to leave because doctrine taught otherwise...come next year omg karl is annointed!!!.

  Oh really? Not in my case. Am I demonized? No more than any of us. I know that speaking in tongues is a language between the person & God, a very private language that only HE understands and when Jdbs claim it's all faul language, talking against God, they are wrong. It's just another way for them to deny real truths. NOBDODY understands it except God.
