District Assemblies Not All They are Cracked Up to Be. I know in my district it looked like the ghetto BET awards. i could remember some brothers dressing up like pimps w/flashy crocodile shoes and those big huge sunglasses that just cover up ur eyebrows and the sister were wearing tricked out hairstyles and short dresses w/cleavage showing. i never could make new friends at the assembles b/c there were entourage of groupies and VIPs to walk to the Mcdonalds eh Whatever??

its been awhile since i've posted a topic but i've gotta take a break b/c i've got finals to study for and i really want to makes the deans list again this year (yes pursuing worldly thing i guess) also mentally i've got to sort out some questions that i have about the religion of jw for example the rev climax book, the meaning of baptism, man made organization, seeking out real truth so on and so forth. I've enjoyed so far sharing my experiences and learning all of ur's also. it been a blast for the past month that i've been on jwd. after finals is over i plan on writing down all these questions tha i have and bring the attention to the sister that i have my book study with, then to a brother and then to an elder so i can see what answers i would get just to make sure that it is consistent. u guys gave me the confidence to ask questions and not to fear my own thoughts lol and look @ both sides to every story. its already been a month since i been on JWD and i've had a lot of fun on here. this is the best virtual and international KH that i've ever been to.

if its one thing that i learned its to listen carefully what the bros and sis say during the meeting and i see that they repeat stuff like a parrot imitating its master Polly wanna cracker, Polly wanna cracker. and sometimes they do this with out even thinking about it because it is already mention in the paragraph. as soon as somebody says contradictory of what the WT says ppl who were asleep would wake up and say WTF did he or she say but they wont even dare question it huuum!

some people, even if they hear the facts, will still remain jw's.
you can talk about all the wrongdoings the watchtower did in the past, as well as all the flip flops they made throughout the years, and still, most remain blind to this.. a few, on the other hand, will start to question their faith and put it to test.. what makes a person lean on one side, rather than on the other ?.

as some of u may know that i'm a dub still and i've stared to do some research about jw and how i'm totally confused about the rev.climax book and its teachings and artwork. by being apart of this site i'm learning the new colorful fluorescent light compared to the black and white incandescent ones that burn out every year lol. also as someone had mention some wont leave unless they ever have personal wrongdoing done towards them. i fall into that catogorie. for some reason it been a year since i prayed to jah probably with school and work and issues of a non-jw dad and all it probably cause me to stop praying. I ask myself on several occasions do i really love jah and is he really, really real to me? but sometimes i feel the question i should be asking do i really love the org (WT) and what it stands for as jehovahs man-made channel? when i look into the faces of the bros and sis of the congo i don't feel hate or animosity towards them or anyone. I remember in times of need they always helped my mom and me when it was my father's responsibility to take care of the needs of the family things like this alway run in my mind when i look or think about the friends and how they help us weather a little or a lot. i always start to breakdown and cry because of it. I fear the worst if i leave and think about how i will go about my way to find peace and make amends with my mom, i mean out of all the things that i can do wrong it can really devastate her if i left the truth and she (mom) knowing that i will die at armageddon. its really sad (tears rollin down XOCO face), its harder now that i am typing this and lookin at it in this perspective. but i have a choice to make either to serve jah with my whole soul heart and mind or the WT with my whole soul hear and mind. i just don't want to reain in a spiritual limbo if u get what i mean.

i heard rumors that "new light" is coming re: baptism.. it seems that those who got baptised without inner conviction or real dedication and / or cooled off afterwards, could get re-baptised.. anyone else heard something similar?.

it's very devious indeed to a newbie who just got out of Christendom would not recognize that this question is an ORAL LEGAL CONTRACT key words " association" and "organization"
these two words are most commonly found in legal contracts/membership contracts.
