  just goes to show where i'm at in the recovery stage.

  The 1st Amendment gets rite in your way here,There are groups with way more wacky idears the the WTS that operate with the full protection of the 1st IE the "Man boy love assoation"The "KKK" "White supremacy" groups the list goes on and on.

  What your asking a court to rule is "Were does the 1st amendment run out"??

  In my opinion it dosen't run out as far a shunning goes,Many groups like the "Free masons" and other religous groups have the same rules as the J.W's

  The J.w's woul'd argue (and they are rite in IMHO) that you were read the rule book before you became one so you knew what you were getting into.

  as a ex jw i am cyncial to dating perhaps because i did not do much dating as a jw.

  do any of you still feel this way?

  i am not against dating but i am still that dating and getting yourself emontionallt attached is sort of a way of being in chains..

  Ran into an old JW friend at a club and....

  it's been 1 year since my fade and exit from wts land... i wsa at a club last night and ran into an old female jw friend... has been at least 2 years since i last saw her...said hi to her from far away, but she ignored me awkwardly...then she comes up to me, and tells me she's been df'd... i was like no worries, i left the borg and i'm so much happier now.

  i told her i won't judge her...she smiled and told me she's gonna try the life outside jw land.

  a couple of drinks later, we started dancing...one thing led to another, and i took her to my apartment and had the most amazing sex.. .

  I was walking down a bech one friday afternoon and got talking to a lady sometime latter we ended up at her place and had the most amazing sex.....turns out she was an exjw.

  Active JW's, can you defend "THE TRUTH?"

  as of yet, no member of the jehovah's witness faith can defend their unique beliefs.

  when the dust settles, it all comes down to blind faith in men's ever-changing ideas.

  this "unique belief" was not a "true teaching of the bible.

  I'd be interested to know how you explane away 1975?

  As i lived through that time and the WTS did all but say the end was comming.

  If you need any proof just look back at the puplications pre 75 and how the number of JW's went down after 75.

  The imperfect man ,people read too much into it dosen't wash with me or alot of other people the hype about 75 was driven from the G.B down.

  I heard a member of the G.B give a talk at an international assembly in 1974 .. quote "This is most likley the last convention before armagedden"

  So tell me what were we ment to read into that??? and that is only one of a very many.

  FEWER NEW ZEALAND CITIZENS AFFILIATED WITH JWS IN 2013 THAN IN 1996: SUCCESSIVE YEARS OF DECREASE

  fewer new zealand citizens affiliated as jws in 2013 than in 1996: over 15 years of successive decreases.

  the first table shows the new zealand census from 1976 to 2013. typically, numbers of citizens affiliated with the witnesses are higher than the number of active publishers because it includes children and those who are affiliated with the witnesses but who may not be active publishers.. of note, more citizens were recorded as affiliated with the witnesses in 1996 (19,527) than in 2013 (17,931).

  the decline in numbers affiliating with the witnesses in new zealand started in 2001 and has continued across two further census reports - so this is not just a temporary blip.

  steve2,I was involved in alot of quick builds around the north island in the late 80's early 90's we couldn't build them fast enough now they seem to be emptying at the same rate.

  They wanted atleast 250 seat K.H's even in places like Taumaranui were they now have about 40 publishers.

  The rural economy in NZ is booming so people are moveing to those areas not moveing away.
