  new zealand afew weeks ago....a young couple with a failing small buisness ask the bank for an overdraft, which gets screwed up giving them afew million in the bank instead....they quietly withdraw the money and disappear overseas.....would you?.

  They asked for a $10.000 overdraft and the bank made a mistake and put $10mil in ther acc.

  Last heard of living it up in Hong kong.

  There are plenty of places you can hide the money...it's all over our news papers.

  my wife who is studying with a jw, whenever i ask her a question she will respond, i don't know, i am still learning, you need to ask the elders about that..... she raises these gentlemen up on a pedestal....are there any special qualifications, what sort of training do they recieve, any background checks required??

  We had 1 elder appointed he was an Accountant he did the books for lots of brothers ans sisters who were in bisness ............turns out he had been stealing money off them for years .......when it went to court it came out it was around 1 million $ ....now he was made an elder wile he had been stealing money from them.............were's the holy spirit???

  Have you made arrangements for your civil funeral?

  it may sound morbid, but have you?.

  it appears that the funeral of a disfellowshipped person would be, that an elder if he feels that there may be some repentence on the behalf of the person that they would give a funeral, but not at the kingdom hall.. this leads me to think what would i want?

  i certainly wouldn't want an elder to give a talk at my funeral.
