i got my car from an elderly sis from my congo and it only had 52000mi and its a subaru gl-10 wagon '88 it looks just like this.

I got married at 19, that's when I got my first car. It was a Nissan Stanza, about an 89. We also had a orange hunk o' junk I don't even remember what the name was. Luckily I lived right on the bus line and could take it to work and school. Even rode it after I got married.

as wonderful as the coverage was concerning abuse of children in the watchtower organization, i think most of us deep down know that it will be ignored, denied and/or described as apostate lies.. the most we can hope for is enlightenment of the general public to the fact that jw's are no different than any of the other religions they point fingers at.
it will make it more difficult to get a listening ear at the door.. the jw's exist in a very small world.
they are taught anything not coming from headquarters is basically lies.. any mistakes made were due to old light, or as i have heard from my own relatives...."well, the entire world didn't know any better so the "organization" is just catching up like everyone else.
I remember when Silent Lambs did their sweep of Middle TN. There was a part on the Ministry School on how to answer people who brought it up in service. Or rather how to brush off the people who brought it up. It was viewed as though the Witlesses were being persecuted by Silent Lambs. I always told people I didn't know the people involved. But if it happened to my kids this is what I would do...
But as it will be now Witlesses will try to sweep it under the rug, just like they did with all the victims now being validated.

hello i've been disfellowshipped for about three years, and no plans to go back to the matrix ( if u know what i mean ).
but my mother, and brothers are still inside.
any word of advice on how can i tell them the truth without them getting dissapointed?.

a producer with nbc in new york called within the past hour to tell me that the segment i interviewed for (once in nashville, tn in august and once in washington, dc in october) is set to air tonight on nbc nightly news with brian williams, that is, if no huge calamity takes place to bump the feature.
this piece will be two minutes and 45 seconds long, the longest slot nightly news has for topics of interest, and will feature a discussion about the court documents that are found on the cd i recently produced, "secrets of pedophilia in an american religion, jehovah's witnesses in crisis.
in addition, nbc's internet site, msn, will follow with a detailed story.
Who else is crying for these babies? I thank the Lord I got my kids out.

i remember an elder walking in the hall and it was the 1st thing he said to me as he saw me dealing with the sound dept.

While my hubby was still in and a teenager he was supposed to handle the mikes on a Sunday. But the overseer said no because he was wearing a double breasted suit, and that was too flashy.
The next week the CO was visiting and on Sunday he had on a double breasted suit.
His sister was wearing a long skirt once and was told it was worldly.

as part of another post, i asked the following question (but got no reply):.
has any watchtower publication ever discussed - or alluded to - how witnesses are to "view" the minor children of persons who have been disfellowshipped?.
on this board, and from direct experience, i have seen a wide range of treatment dished out to the innocent offspring of disfellowshipped persons.
That would be wonderful and loving if that is what they all actually did.
