i have a "friend" and i say that loosely because i don't think that she is a good friend.
she only calls me when my husband is in town to do stuff with her, i.e.
go to lunch, etc.
My friend..... I have been around this world of ours long enough to know a RED Flag when I see it! I have no doubts about your, ahem, Friend's intentions. And, not to cast aspertions on your hubby, I believe that he may already KNOW about her feelings for him.
This is not a good situation for either of you. I liked Terry's ideas and i think you should take the ball and run with it. Then, take your hubby by the hand and RUN as fast as you can away from your friend.
Oh, by the way. I've seen it ALL in my life, there's nothing new under the sun, as it was.

I PUKED!!! The most repugnant , disgustingly evil thing I ever was decieved into eating was , mind the spelling now, BALUTE....Something like that, perhaps our Fillipino friends can correct me. What it is, is this. The still in the shell fetus of a duck or a chicken.
While stationed in the Phillipine islands, I was ut with some fellow G I's and they said, " Hey! NMG, you just have to try this." Well, I had had a few too many beers, naturally, and said, "Sure, why NOT.?" I didn't see it come out of the shell, just a fork full was enough to send my belly spewing chunks!!!

Oh, there have been reported cases in the past of women who have had to be hospitalised. It seems as though they either strained or in some extreme cases , have broken their necks taking a second look.LMAO.

I believe that you are pretty close to how I feel about the bible and the god of tests. Adam, had already failed the temptation test. Why the need for the 2 distinct trees? Especially the one that would kill him? Ok, I feel that he wasn't allowed enough time to study for the test. He didn't really know that his god would actually allow this to happen to him, he trusted his creator, didn't he? Why shouldn't he.
Now, on to Job. WHY would god allow Satan to test Job??? Is this the act of a LOVING god? Cmon now, Adam failed the test of universal soveriegnty, didn't he? So why would there be a necessity for a test on old Job?
