This is a follow-up of my thread of June 18th. My son, 30, inactive jw, divorced. His girlfriend, non jw, much younger than him, really cute really sweet.

So, they came over friday evening. My wife, not his mother, and I can tell that he has overcome his hard feelings about me, my divorce from his mother etc. He was genuinely sincere in his words and actions towards us, I could tell. As we were going out to the patio iasked him if his girlfriend was a jw, he said no, I said GOOD. I sensed that he wasn't quite sure how to take my comment, but we left it at that.

As the evening progressed, we enjoyed each other's company, he had relaxed and his girlfriend really warmed up to my wife. So, I think she's only maybe 22?? She shares an aprtment with a girlfriend . That's when my son said that they were going to be moving into an aprtment of THEIR own with-in the month. I my wife and I both said"NICE" non-jw judgementalism .

Now, here's the sticky part, not that that act alone isn't sticky already. You see, I KNOW his MOTHER.......She's an active, hard core dub. This is the woman that told the elders when she learned that I was smoking, while we were married. She got ME DF"D!!!! She swore that she HAD to do it...had to keep clean with jehovah.....All that TRUE JW crap.

So, my ex has met this young lady, approves of her as a nice girl and suitable for her son. WELL!!! Just what the HELL is she going to do when she finds out that they are going to be LIVING together???Do you think she's NARC on him? He hasn't gone to meetings in a couple of years , that I know of, although he may have gone to an assembly or the DC here in the not so past past.

Hey, I'm not going to be the one to burst her bubble, I figure she'll find out from my older son or some one else. HOWEVER!!! I am waiting to see just what transpires in this matter. I am hoping that she doesn't narc on him. She's always worried about losing him to this and to that. If she doesn't go to the elders I am going to nail her on her high and mighty stand she took when we were married.

If she DOES go to the elders, well. I'll see what happens after that............

Ex-JWs off the Radar?

this week i was contacted by an old friend of mine who was recently disfellowshipped.

i encouraged her to check out jwd for support, advice and friendship.

she had a brief look but said it wasn't really for her, she would rather just "move on and have fun!".

I've been a fader now for 4 years. Before that I tried fading but always got narced on by my ex for questionable practices on my part. They always kept dragging me back with guilt and the like. Maybe once or twice I googled JW and just happened to stumble upon this past fall. This was a good thing.

However, I told my best friend, an exjw about JWD. NOPE!! He' and his wife aren't interested in anything having to with anything about jw's. Oh, well.

Whatever happened to the concept that once the blood left the body, it was to be poured out. I had this practically beat into my head as a child by my mother and the WTS. Now, this FRACTIONS deal just goes absolutely contrary to everything that they ever preached!!! NMG

Another CULT follower. I am sure that the majority here whould love to see the WTS held accountable for the large number of people that DIED for the beliefs of NO BLOOD. I , personally , hold this opinion. As for the bleeding heart liberals here ," OH, the poor little thing didn't know what she was doing".........Think about it................WTS+ NO BLOOD= DEATH.

Well, it is your home, and you are very concerned about your wife's well being.I'd say, ya, bring it home and let it sit where she might have a chance to pick it up.

I am a 4 year fader, and i have my 30 year old inactive son coming over with his new girl friend tomorrow evening. I may just leave my copy on one of my end tables. Who knows? Maybe he'll see it and maybe he himself knows about already. i don't think he's been to the meetings in a while. I have been tempted to approach him on the wts and I think that tomorrow is that time.

A few years back at my sister's cong, they made an announcement that you could no longer wear Cologne or after shave to the meetings. It bothered some people, alergies, etc.

However, I know for a FACT, that it was my sister's HUSBAND that made a STINK about it and thus the announcement. FThe fact is, he's just totally intolerant of EVERYTHING!!! Smells, kids, ME!! You name it, he doesn't like it.

Oh, one other thing........He weighs 450 pounds...something like that.......

This friday, my younger son and his new girlfriend will be coming by for a visit. Now, I haven't seen him in almost a year, and have only spoken to him once on the phone since. We kinda had a rocky road after my ex and my divorce 6 years ago. Well, he got divorced, and df'd since mine and has had some issiues to deal with in the past. However, things are looking up for our relationship and I am very thrilled over this.

I know that his mother likes this girl, as I have been told by his older brother. My ex never approves of anything that isn't jw connected, but, she doesn't want to rock her sons boat at this stage of his life. She is always holding out hope that he will return to the borg.

He got re-instated a year or two after being df'd, however, he doesn't go to meetings and I think that his girl friend isn't a jw, hope not. So, anyways, I am going to feel him out on his feelings about the borg. Maybe hint around if he has seen JWD or any like forum. If I feel the time is right, I may just fill his ears for him, kindly though.

Any suggestions would be appreciated..

playing along with the disfellowshipped game

my son has come to stay with me for the summer, and this morning i got a phone call which showed on the caller id as my son's grandparents (my jw ex's parents who are also jw).

i assumed it was my ex calling from their house and answered handing the phone to my son.

that's when i heard his grandma's voice on the phone.

YES!! While I was df'd, I did not avoid speaking to any of them if I ran into them. It's their practice, not mine, to ignore us. What will they do, DOUBLE , SECRET DF us?? LOL If it isn't your intention to get back in, don't worry about them. Make them worry about YOU!! We are human beings as are they. This little game that they want to play only hurts them inside. I never, EVER avoided speaking to a DF'd person while I was in good standing. If I ran into them ANYWHERE I always made it a point to talk with them. They truly appreciated it, I know.

Good point you made with the grand parent. Oh, and by the way, you don't have to allow your son to go to the grand parents house while you have custody of your son. Grand parents have NO rights by law to that.
