  District Assemblies Not All They are Cracked Up to Be

  you hear about them for so long.

  the grand boasting session is supposed to be the biggie.

  there is so much hype about the motels that are on the list, which will come out right around jan 1. you are supposed to call ahead, and usually people get busy signals and full motels.

  baby grace~ beaten to death by an adult as a form of discipline .

  the boy that is getting face surgery~~~gasoline poured on him and burned in war .

  It's equal to the mental and physical anguish that we as JW's, past tense, did to our own children. I've been putting alot of thought to it over the past few days since coming on board here. My mother and father did to myself and my siblings. My younger brother hated my mother until the day she died. My father was never baptized, quit going after a few years back in the late 50's.saw the hypocracy in it. I never held him responsible. However, sad thing about, it was a learned behaviour, and I did the same mean things to my sons. Walking to the back of the hall, spankings in the men's room, I had to make a good show for the elders. Good job submissive brother.

  if you are a jehovah's witness please understand that i am not against you as an individual.

  i am not an apostate from the watchtower organization and, of course, i was never baptized as a jehovah's witness.

  however, when i was 17, i studied with the jehovah's witnesses for a couple of months, but quit.

  At the sight where our District bore sessions were held, they had the convenience of being able to listen to the entire sessions on an FM radio frequency. Plug in your earphones to a radio for hearing impaired. So, my dear buddie, ex jw now, and his family, would take a small motor home and sit in the parking lot. They were more comfortable with this arrangement as they had a daughter with physical problems and just made it easier. The best part of it all.........We could sit and drink beer and yuk it up. I would tell my ex I was going to sit with them awhile during the lunch break until she found out what we were really doing. He and I are still the good ole boys we used to be. Lots of beer, fishing, shooting guns, and yukking it up about all the poor fools still under the spell.

  WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY DEFINES THE WORD "ROTE''.......n. MECHANICAL REPETITION.

  A few years back, I hade made what "I" thought was an excellant comment during the wt study. I wasn't going to allow myself to have my identity taken away by being a Lemming and following in step with all the zombies. Anyway, the wt conductor, from the platform, asked me to restrict keep my comments to the material printed in the WT. Thanks for embarrasing me and making me look like a fool to all "ON LOOKERS".

  i've been reading up latelty alot about the gb and it's relationship to or lack there -in of the annointed.

  jesus' spirit begotten followers, here on earth, the citizens of the new jerusalem, make up the faithful and discreet slave, correct?

  Thanks be to all. I just returned home from work, am self employed, and didn't have the opprtunity to stay on-line and monitor all. I am very impressed with the number of perceptive minds that are in here. The wts would have us all labeled as mindless, blinded, incoherrant slaves to darkness. " LUKE, come over to the DARK SIDE", Darth Vader, thank you.

  But, wouldn't it make sense to everyone in the wts ,that if you have the heavenly that you would that you would be more than welcome, in fact PERSONALLY invited to fill one of the 15,000 positions in the borg????Thank you all again.

  This really bothers me. I've been reading up latelty alot about the Gb and it's relationship to or lack there -in of the annointed. Jesus' spirit begotten followers, here on earth, the citizens of the New Jerusalem, make up the faithful and discreet slave, correct? Through a breakdown chart of the current org., I see where there is no direct link between the GB or communication with the annointed class as a whole at all. Considering this, the FDS are the ones that jw's are supposed to be being fed by. That's not happening is it? It's the GB. Wouldn't it make sense then, that considering that there are over 15,000 positions held in the wts that they would invite ALL of the fds to bethel service? Then, ALL the fds could collectively share in a forum any spiritual guidance they recieve from the Holy Spirit. Right now it seems sort of backwards. Pity that those of the remnant are sitting in a local cong. and not being able to share in their inherited right.

  To those who've been DFed...

  i was just wondering if anyone ever tried to find a mature way to defy their supposed authority to judge you this way and what sort of reactions you got.

  i haven't been dfed, but it could certainly happen some day.. i'm not planning to meekly put up with the preaching next time witnesses try it on me, which has made me wonder about this.

  it seems a bit immature to go right up to them and say "hiya!

  Heap FIERY coals on their pin heads.They hate it.While I was df'd I would ocasionally run into some of them in public. The hard liners would give me the evil eye, to that I would smile. New ones in the borg would act like" OMG what do I do"? A WINK took care of them. My dearest of friends, and believe me, I had many, acted like old times. They could never be so cruel, and why should they?Nothing short of REAL death should ever come between you. Once I was re-instated though, I was like the Prodigal son to all of them, with the exception of the elders who knew.........Now that I have faded away? Who really gives a.......

  Pioneer Sister tells my Wife If your Raped just pray to Jehovah for help??

  while being new in the truth my wife dicussed the rape issue with her pioneer {my mums annionted} teacher.

  her response was to say if your raped you need to pray to jehovah for help and just yell for him to stop so it's not considered fornication.

  i was shocked at this so i found her an awake article about a sister who was assulted by a tradesmen in her home.

  Please refer to my very first post, tell me, was that not rape also? The elders applied the same priciple of rape to that, he did not resist............therefore he was an active participant......Someone's going to burn in hell for that one.
