Personally speaking, no, I don't believe this to be the case. What I am observing in the jwd is a sense of those already df or da, have themselves been through all the crap leading up to their current situation. Thus, I believe that they themselves just don't want others to have to delay the enevitable consequence of whatever indescretion they have commited in their lives. Be it whatever. A choice of conciense, don't believe any longer, commited immorality and just waiting to be caught up with. The list goes on, but the final choice is up to each individual as to what they are going to do with thier miserable life staying in the borg. My choice? FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADING!

When DA'd of DF'd ones give advice to DA...
by changeling inespecially if they are the militant, bitter type...are they wanting you to undergo the hardships they've been through?.
are they secretly jealous of those who have faded and have kept their family together?.
does misery want company?.

Its sounds like this jw did everything he was supposed to do and NOT do. He spent an unchaperoned weekend with you. Tempted day and night, a BIG no.no. Finally took the big dip and emediatley , like Adam, knew he had sinned against his god. Hey! It's the same old story, you got sucked in, baptized, tms, pioneer, yada, yada, yada. And now, HE"S the one that should have to worry!!! Not you! HE abused you and as usual it's the good ole boy syndrome at work. Cast YOU out! You strayed from the flock, you weren't a nice little submissive SLAVE! Give me a break! You won't be DF, you don't have to DA, just faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaade away dear girl and don't make the mistake of communicating with him EVER again, except in divorce court. MORE POWER TO YOU!!!!! Belive me, I have seen this before in my life as a former JW!!! DON'T GO BACK!!!!!!!!! NEVER !!!!!!!

by GetOverIt ini got a call from my friend last night who has a friend who is a jw, who just married her daughter's father.

my friend's, friend (the jw) called her and started going on and on about how her husband wants o s-x but she's not supposed to do it.

OMG give me a break here. We got all that info back in the 70's and all of a sudden the elders were in our bedrooms with badges on their suits and writing tickets. I was there and believe me all of my friends started having to look elsewhere for the DIRTY DEED! My ex found it a good excuse for her not having to perform again. She wouldn't let me go there anymore either, and believe me, her mental connection to her body was the only way she was able get off. The physical aspect of regular sox could not get her off. So, needless to say she became one frustrated little faithful dub. However, a few years later the society came out and said they were not the BED ROOM POLICE and it was up to the married couple and their own conciense. So, tell your friend's friend to get over it and take care of business or she might find her new hubby straying from the nest.

Do You "Trust" The Police?
by minimus inif the police say such and such a thing, do you tend to automatically believe it?
-
nomoreguilt
I no longer trust anything or ANYBODY unless I have seen or heard it for myself. Everything in life is learned. And I have learned and been taught extremely well by the borg to NOT to believe a $^&%% thing again on someone elses say!!! Is that what you wanted to know???? Do you believe it? Do you trust it?

Disorganized religion
by nomoreguilt infor so many years now the borg has spoken condesendingly of organized religion.
this raises many questions then on their part.
what do jw's call the people that have oversight on all jw's?

What irony. How can they remain proud considering the current events giving them such a black eye?

For so many years now the borg has spoken condesendingly of organized religion. This raises many questions then on their part. What do jw's call the people that have oversight on all jw's? THE ORGANIZATION, right? What is the that dark green book we all had to study and answer questions from to be baptized? ORGANIZED TO ACCOMPLISH OUR MINISTRY. If then, they are not a part of organized religion, are they therefore , a DISORGANIZED religion? Food for thought, or a snappy to answer to any dubs that may come to your door.

I finally spoke to my parents. Best thing I did.
by ThomasCovenant inseveral month ago i finally got up the courage to speak to my parents about the reasons i left the borg.
up until then things were brewing up inside me to the point where i thought i would explode in rage.. even though they were aware of the basic reasons they still had no idea about how angry i was.. friday afternoon i started by asking my mother that i would like to arrange a meeting between the 2 of them and my wife and i to discuss the 't'.
i didn't want to get into detail at this stage because it would be unfair on just her without my elder dad being there.

The wts has taught you well GRASSHOPPA! (KUNG FU). You were very adept with all your TMS training in using the Rezoning from the Scr. You used the wt changing of the rules on organ transplants extremely well. How can they dispute the truth as We all see it now? And the truth shall set you free...

I Got this Parrot
by Honesty ini got this parrot from a friend who used to be a jw and i don't know if i can keep him (i think he is a he) because he has a nasty habit that i can't break him from.. he is driving me crazy with his nasty habit.. i am having a hard time going to sleep even though i cover his cage at night.. does anyone have any suggestions other than cooking him in the oven?.
i really don't want to get rid of him but something has to be done... soon.. .

Simple. Reprogram the parrot. Or add to his vocabulary, "RAAAAAAAAAAAK! WITNESSES LIE" or something likewise catchy and pass him on as a gift to an active dub.
Any others care to contribute?

Dumped On.
by RollerDave intis the season, so to speak.. this is the time of year the darkness descends like a proclamation of doom, and the light retreats like a rank and filer encountering an actual, thinking, reasoning person during the failed misery.. i don't exactly operate at a hundred percent in the dark and cold, ironic considering where i live.. so one day, we have a relatively clear parking pad, and the next we get a ton of white shit dumped on us.. such lovely fun, shoveling all the global warming from the drive.. got to take the truck out and let it strut it's stuff, that bad ol' aposta-truck was in it's element and unstoppable.
like the unfailing assault of reason on the last tendrils of mind control left in my wetware.. see, i've been thinking again, in spite of all the trouble it's gotten me in before it's a hard habit to break.
i drive around and everybody is getting their christmas on, and i have always felt so smug that i 'knew better'.. see, here is the witless take; you gotta get all vestiges of pagan influence out of your life, no saturnalia, no lupercalia, no all hallows eve, no 'bless you' to a sneeze, no 'pot lucks', bleh blah yadda.. yet, every day of the week and month of the year is named for a pagan deity, the planets are too.

I hate the snow here, but I love Christmas. Like you said,"tis the season". But don't let the wts make your Christmas BLUE! As a child, I would walk the streets alone at night. Seeing everone in the neighborhod with family and friends over. I knew they were having a warm fuzzy feeling about it all, AND I WASN"T!.I have anew wife, non jw and we love the holidays. You should be able to also, without the damnation heavy on your head of the wts.Take care friend.
