crap like that leaves such a bad impression
about any religious organization that has
become so legalistic..... how does anyone
find joy in that kind of atmosphere?
i think dale made a great point when he said
that they arent "making xians if they have
to control every move with more and more
restrictions"
the b0rg is evil and many are duped

me.. wasting time believing in such silliness is like hoping one day to turn into mickey mouse.
why not accept life now, while you have it, and understand that like all others before you, you are going to die too.

the liberation of facing the reality that "this is it"
has been nothing short of overwhelming for me...
i find the improbability of being alive at this moment
to be such a rush that i cannot help but smile while
waiting for my heart rate to settle down....
the bits and parts of assembled star dust that i call "me"
have been/will be bits and parts other places ... this
interval of "me" is pretty much all i get.... so i plan to
stop offering this moment in the "stream of time" to
distractions like the concept of "eternity"

one of the questions i ask jws before discussing anything with them is:.
"what facts, evidence or otherwise would you consider as proof that jehovah's witnesses are not the true religion?".
i thought it was unfair to simply ask that of them so i figured i'd answer a similar question:.

sorry, to be so blunt- for a whole day i have watched people here patting themselves on the back- we're a large army, oohh, look out wt, we might do something, well not today or tomorrow, but someday!
maybe, i have to just accept that a lot of jw's who are exiting the kh by the back door will never find a backbone to stand up to mummy and elder daddy.. jw's have a learned ability to see themselves in a better light than everyone else sees them.
ask a jw, if they are a charitable religion and they would likely all say they are, but when pressed to name a charity they will be unable to do so.
my eventual disengagement from the b0rg
was in the "fade" format but i wasnt formally
engaged in separation; it just turned out that way....
once you removed from the dynamic, things you once
fully accepted without question become questionable....
at least that is how it happened for me

there is one county with a daily paper and ours has
a weekly, and there are c0ngregants in both counties

women with respect for themselves, natural scientists, atheists, agnostics, buddhists, hindus, everyone from the center to the far left of the political spectrum, homosexuals, sexually liberated people.. and what types of people we will find in heaven:.
sexually restrictive, far right, wife abusing christians.. i would pick hell any day.
