tonight's show is one i have been looking forward to seeing.
it is a story about a man that has over 2,000 rats in his home as pets!.
his house is a wreck, i could stand that .
my mother was a hoarder so i cannot watch that show
too triggering for me!
however, she didnt hoard rats.....
and neither do i, although i do
have 2 pet rats, noodles and jezzie
(mother and daughter)
the rats from that hoarding situation
are available for adoption from northstar rescue
my fade is going well, but my mom knows full well what my thoughts are on the wts.
it seems that she feels comfortable just ignoring the situation in order to keep seeing her grandchildren.. the other day however we were talking about someone we know who is making it very difficult for her parents to see their grandchild.. then out of the blue, my mom turns in my direction and says, that if any of her kids try to deny her from seeing her grandchildren, she would take them to court and get a court order to force them to let her see them.. i know what the message was, and it was loud and clear.
she is letting me know that if i get disfellowshipped there's no way i can keep the kids away from her.
it doesnt appear that grandparents, unless they lived with the child
or have been a care giver as a de facto parent, have much of a case
for visitation rights... as my hub would say "she is blowing sparks out
her @ss......."
on friday morning, sometime before noon, my former son-in-law [for lack of better term, for he and my daughter were never married], father and custodial parent of my middle granddaughter, was found dead of an overdose of pain-medication.
perhaps oxycontin, though i am unsure of the specific drug at the moment.. he was enduring pain from an accident with his moped [yes, he was lifetime license removed for drinking] that occurred a year or so back.
his shoulder was injured and he had a surgery scheduled soon.

they will have for all concerned parties.... i hope
your granddaughter does have fond memories that
will help her through the days and months ahead
as she adjusts to the new reality of her life... that
her daddy wont be around any longer...
