i remember what i was told ; "well he turned against Jehovah (organisation) and he'll die at armagedon"................"the bible speaks about sinning against the Holy Spirit"
i remember i was once told/overheard a brother that turned apostate had written letters to all JW of the congregation and; "not to read the lies against Jehovah's people" and then have it justified and feel comfortable with "he is going to die at armagedon" made us all feel safe
awhile back i was trying to understand how the wtbts understood the salvation of the 144,000. when looking up articles it seemed on the surface to be similar to how many christians view salvation.
the similarities were in the standard christian doctrines of perseverance and assurance.
(i know that jw in general do not have assurance of their salvation, they believe that they cannot have salvation until they make it into paradise.
in my experince no J.W has assurance of salvation.................. what about the anointed from 1935 that are now clased as unfaithful in order to keep the governing body and right to be Jehovah's only mouthpiece alive........ during my JW life i never heard of salvation being guaranteed..............never.....

these were instructions from Yahuah for a particular reason........usually the health of the individual is the reason........i do not know the technical side of things and cannot put it fandangled smart words for you although i do know that milk and meat eaten together causes an unusal amount of bad bacteria in your stomach......something not needed particully if in wilderness........
my younger brother tried to kill himself today.
i am sick inside....sicker then i ever thought possible.
my mother told me the news in the cruelest of ways and i am now in a fog.. i blame the jw's and all the bullshit they put on children who are df.
my uncle killed himself not long after being counselled in regards to the condition of his shoes by the elders at the kingdom hall..........he was truley searching for God and battling an addiction....
with in the next week and a half(maybe sooner) there is going to be a very insightful post about the borg.

i found a really old song/hym book from the early 1900's had that egyptian eagles wings on the front of it....... brought it at an op shop for $1.50 AUD think its worth $400 USD....... i read it... its amazing how much worship they attributed to Jesus Christ back then ..... if you spoke such things these days in the Kingdom hall......stares and wispers alike.......
my congregation would have a special service day on all holidays, including christmas.
in order to avoid knocking to early on homeowners doors we would meet at 10am instead of 9:30am.
we would always have the hardcore group ready ard raring to go on dec 25th.
oh my gosh ..... i do remember the days (the 25th) all of them till i was 15........ how out of touch we all were (how insulting to those we spoke to at the door.....JW timing....such love x o x) for us children........ i used to try and see as much of the inside of the door as i could in hope of seeing what magical and wonderful gifts the children were recieving, i knew they were all going to die at armagedon but at the time almost seemed worth it..........such a sad period for us kids.......
