  Where do you hide your apostate literature?

  since some of us are still active and have to hide our so-called apostate literature, i am curious about where some of you keep it.

  i have to leave it at my workplace.

  i manage, however, to have one book at home.

  My husband is reading about the initial fulfillment of the last days....

  that happened in 70 ce... i guess it has 2 fulfillments.... i'm drinking a beer right now, not in the mood for this conversation... mostly i hear, bla bla bla bla bla....... he's trying to figure something out... i asked whether those scriptures had 1 or 2 fulfillments... anyone know???.

  sometimes this is exhausting... .

  Ok, so when do you think this scripture had it's fulfillment?

  (I figured it was either 33 C.E. or 70 C.E. but still have more research to do on the subject...)

  You're not the only one that thought stuff like this -- and I wasn't a kid. You can't help it, really. You put two and two together and realize that dying before the Big-A is the only way your "worldly" loved ones can have a "real life".

  Thanks! I told my husband last night about it while I had the thought in my head. He told me that's a pretty messed up way to think as a 6 year old...

  I told him about the 2 pictures in the My Book of Bible Stories of baby's dying and how that tormented me... The one where the baby was in the womans arm in Noah's day and your taught, "just as in the days of Noah"...

  He agreed that the society should never have put those pictures in a childrens book... Its sick that they scare people like that... I was practically a baby...

  when i first joined the "happy people" i didnt know but the more i got to know them i noticed half of them were on medication and so did i eventually !

  Jesus had, prior to this already spoken of the destruction coming in 70ce...this conversation was totally a different topic.

  So, if this had its fulfillment in 70 C.E. then Jesus started ruling then?

  growing up of course as a jw child - birthdays couldn't be celebrated because the only instance of a birthday was when john the baptizer had his head cut off.

  sooo... seams like "the memorial" shouldn't be celebrated because jesus was murdered.

  over the past few months, i have been researching the wt society's doctrines and history.

  in doing so, i have tried to use as little so-called "apostate" material as possible.

  this is because (as we are all aware) witnesses are taught to fear apostate literature, and if i ever hope to enlighten any of my loved ones, i am not going to be able to do so by waving a copy of coc in their faces.

  once upon a time, there was a vast empire that was born of out events around 1914. it demanded that its youth become "pioneers".. it grew rapidly and published endless statistics of growth.

  it attracted an ever-growing number of desperate people in the 3rd world.. however, what no one seemed to notice, amidst all the evidence of its growing might, was that its empire was a money losing proposition.

  and that it made endless numbers of enemies thru its aggression.

  On that site, there is an "elders-only" login section, where the elders can request literature shipments, change standing magazine orders, enter field service reports, etc.

  I wonder how well that's working cause my info keeps getting all screwed up...

  Also, do any elders on here have access to that so they can screw everything up? lol
