  I personally do not know of anybody around me that died for refusing blood.

  However, I think that everybody that is willing to put his life on the line for a doctrine that has been proven over and over to be utter crap, is already a victim. So, in my opinion there are more then 6 million victims worldwide.

  My advise: Dodge them. Don't meet. Sofar this has worked for me, and I am inactive so they can hold something against me. Against you they have NOTHING, so don't give them anything. Say you are happy the way you are, and when you need them you will contact them.

  I am inactive and live with my parents too. I have been sharing my apostate views with them and making progress with it. They even share my views on abortion and euthenasia, quite heavy issues I would say...

  Value your relationship with your parents, don't let nosy elders destroy that!

  Good post Uncle! It often is the material itself that leads to a red flag going up. As a kid I started to look into the proof provided for not celebrating anniversaries and saw huge cracks in their arguments. This started my exodus from the borg.

  in this fashion, they can retain their extreme allegiance.

  How well do you REALLY know the Organisation?

  many times a new one will post a question to what the witnesess teach on a matter or will simply make a statement.

  many times you have to wonder where they get their ideas from as regards to what the society teaches on a matter.

  many times they are simply wrong, or have the understanding twisted.

  Theology is not something the avarage JW is interested in. They just parrot the paragraph, hence: "the paragraph says", "the society says" etc. Ask a JW to prove any doctrine, and they are at a loss. They are just intellectual zombies letting it all wash over them. They put their mind in 'sleep mode', a nice and cozy coma from which they never wake up.
