What started me on the path to waking up about the lies the WT teaches?
by oppostate init was a simple question: isn't jesus my "mediator" if i put faith in him like the scriptures say?
the research to that answer, from the w79 4/1 p. 31, was mind blowing.
how dare they deny me a belief firmly stated in the scriptures?

I always try and slip the UN membership in, if they reply that it cant be and that its a rumour started by opposer's etc, I always keep the scan of their membership from the UN on my smartphone, I say the UN would be in a very dodgy predicament legally if they fabricated the WTS membership of it, the very few times I speak with them the astonishment on their faces is comical, then I get the down right denial of it,some say they will go home and research it in their own time, its not a lie its true! just think how many have left because of this scandal? -

List of Prominent JW Urban Legends...
by Tuesday inhey folks,.
i'm wondering if you all could help me with my next video that i want to put up in the next couple of days (though i'm hoping for tonight), i want to come up with a list of the most prominent urban legends surrounding jws and then refute them whatever they may be.. i'm thinking there's the urban legend about the question on jeopardy that said the nwt was the most accurate would be a good one.
that one stems from an online powerpoint presentation named theological jeopardy and a book which was written comparing six different translations of the bible.

a favourite was the story of the Japanese Yakuza boos who had his own daughter murdered as she wouldn't enter into the crime family being a devout JW, whilst in prison he started studying and converted, after release from jail became an elder etc, clearly there are variants on this fable, I believe it may have been told at a CA. -

A difficult yet necessary decision
by Brother Jeramy inthe past five weeks have been perhaps the most painful in my life as a witness.. some months ago a young man (i'd say in his late thirties or early forties) began attending meetings at my kingdom hall.
he had just moved to my area from another state.
he had disassociated himself from his home congregation many years back, when he was 20 years old and going through many of the typical trials and temptations most young men experience.. two of the elders met with him initially, and they later shared the details with the body of elders.

makes you wonder why they went to all the time and effort with this new brochure, the R&F know the hoops that have to be jumped through to be reinstated , does the brochure deal with those who are DF/DA? if not than it is clearly a deceptive pointless waste of time, Jeramy and you new found pal have made a a brilliant decision to walk away, its worth it! -

99.9% of the time the drones manning the carts seem to have more interest playing with their mobile phones or gossiping -

It is just the opinion of men, not a religion...
by punkofnice inan elder in my congo gave a talk.
he was always interesting to listen to and one of the nice guys.
(the nice elders are always targets of the bully elders, no?).

if I was in that cong and had heard about the unfair council given to the elder and not the C.O. I would have mentioned it -

Contrary to News Reports the ZEAL is Still There
by steve2 inzeal has always been a valued word in the jw arsenal.
even if you don't see it in your own local congregation, you keep hearing about it.
"zeal this" and "zeal that".

I remember the amount of so called "apostate" material I was reading all those years back my zeal seemed to diminish somewhat, my wife rebuked for my lack of zeal, I chided her counsel in return, finally the time came when Bro Jookfluff became completely free of zeal!
