  well i've been away for a while, lot of stuff to sort out in my life.

  so anyway i've been takeing the info from this site and all the other apostate related sites (ha ha) and haveing some debates with my family, they don't know anything i'm talking about and realy got the brain washed replys youd expect.

  and to prove a point, i'm now deceptively after 14 years in exile studing with an elder....to challenge him, and unknown to him i want some satisfaction for what they did to me.

  Just a suggestion from one who has tried it...
  There's an old saying: "I don't go where I'm not invited, and I don't stay where I'm not wanted."

  If you wanted to get back at the WT, you should have gone to Ritzville. You wouldn't beleive how amazed people were at JW, ex-JW and non-JW sitting and working and eating together in peace. I was invited to a person's home! The Deputy Chief even commented on how cooperative and helpful we were compared to the JW.

  If you want to get back at the WT go to the next Ritzville eqivalent, or to the civil trial, or contribute to Silentlambs. Distribute flyers and stickers in yours or someone else's neighborhoods.

  Why spend time with someone who wouldn't want diddlysquat to do with you if they knew you better, when you could spend precious time and resources with people who DO like you and DO care about you, is what I want to know. All are welcome on this board, and no one is discriminated here based on race, gender, ethnicity, or anything else (since we don't KNOW what everyone is unless they tell us)except for stupidity, so if we aren't good enough for you I don't know what to say.

  I have family still 'inside' and so do many on this board, and I don't care to help anyone do what you say you want to do. For all I know, it's my own son-in-law or brother-in-law you want to do this to.

  How do I know you aren't a JW setting us up here on the board as others have done, and then display our responses to WT? "See, this is what ex-JW's are like"

  Count me out. Leave individual JW's alone if that's what they want, it's their org, they can stay if they want. They've paid enough for it in many cases.

  Just my opinion, "Take the best and leave the rest"

  It's my understanding that just as 'normal' or 'healthy' people (whatever that is) use sex to express love and intimacy; rapists and molesters use sex to express anger and rage. So in the sense that 'normal' or 'healthy'(whatever that is) sexual intercourse is a sexual act, then rape and molestation are sexual crimes. This is quite an oversimplification, and its very hard for a layperson like myself to articlate these complex social issues. Hope I didn't confuse anybody too much.

  Whatever serial rape and molestation 'is' (and I will defer to former President Clinton on the definiton of 'is')what is said to help offenders and protect potential victims the most is to approach and characterize the serial rapist/molester as someone with a disease process, ongoing and chronic, that needs medical intervention, monitoring, medication and/or behavioral management training and also the offender must have personal responsibilities for his actions. And because these are crimes of opportunities, enlightenment and education of the public is a priority, (but is prvoing much more difficult to do) As to whether these new programs will be just another in the long list of failed social policies is anyone's guess.

  Both surgical and chemical castration does seem to work, but they unfortunately can be circumvented. Testerone injections can counteract surgical castration, and I understand that now testosterone blockers(chemical castration) can be circumvented by Estrogen?? injections. So we're back where we started. <sigh>

  I like the idea of you spreading 'the good news of the Watchtower Kingdom' the way you do. You are just telling the truth. Hopefully that fiance won't get baptised, I would love to hear updates on that.

  Congratulations on your school, you will be glad you went. Just finished nursing school myself not so long ago. Isn't it great! let me know when you finsih, we'll celebrate!

  i would like to know why you still beleive in god and what, based upon the bible, leads you to believe in god.. i likethe scripture that states the earth was a circle and hung upon nothing.

  i also find that there is evidence the flood existed.

  anybody know the stats of the "supposed" ark on mr. ararat?.

  I don't know how fair this question is in this form since many people believe in God but not the bible. The apostle Paul said as much at Romans 2:14 etc. Literally taken as worded, this question is addressed towards those who believe in the Bible God?

  i am bill's wife.he just called me from washington and told me to let you all know that erica won her case today!.

  that sick child molesting bastard is in jail now as we speak.. his sentencing is set for september 24th i think.. one down many more to go.. thanks to all who have supported this cause.. sheila

  seriously, I love your posting you are so plucky and such an asset to our board.

  May I pass on to you something that I found of benefit to myself? I went to Randy's and silenlambs' site and did some research on pedophilia, because it seemed to me I could really relate a little better to victims on this board, there seemt to be so many of them here (there are so many of them everywhere). If you've been there or would go there I would really love to 'hear' your comments on what you find there, you always have such interesting insights into things.

  And one more thing I would like to share...now that we have so many new ones registering, especially JW's who may or may not be on their way out, I've decided that after this most personal stuff or 'bringing closer to home' I will do in email or IM. It's just my personal opinion that these venues are a little underutilized by some of us here on this DB. I plan on making greater use of them in the future.

  My Aunt Passed Away & I'd like to talk

  on tuesday, my mom called me at work to tell me my aunt linda passed away.

  she'd had diabetes and kidney problems for years.

  tuesday, she was on dialysis and her blood pressure bottomed out and she just went to sleep and never woke up.

  HELP Needed in custody case!

  i received a letter last night (as many of you did) about a particular.

  custody battle being fought by a poster on this board.. she just found out that she lost custody of her 3 children to her jw ex, despite the fact that they are in danger of being exposed to a pedophile relative through this man.. i am asking anyone who may know anything about setting up a legal defense fund (or anyone who knows about utah custudy law/ lawyers in utah) to please respond to this post.

  time is of the essence, the girls have already gone back to their father today.

  Surely there is hardly anyone on this board more qualified to give advice or recommend resources than him, I have personally seenhim in action. More personal details will have to be given in order for help to be given and return, and so this forum really isn't the best case if anonymity is desired.

  So in my case, I will defer to Silentlambs.

  Proclaimers book page 626

  According to Brother Russell, his wife, who later left him, was the first to apply Matthew 24:45-47 to him. See WT of July 15, 1906 page 215; March 1 1896 page 47; and June 15, 1896 pages 139-140.

  Particularily following his death, the Watchtower itself set forth this view for a number of years. He did not personally promote the idea, but he did acknowledge the apparent reasonableness of the argument of those who favored it.
