Good question Warlock. It seems if the dead were alive in the spirit world they would communicate somehow to those living in a more appropriate manner. Not all who claim to have seen spirits say they just scare the crap out of ya. Some say it's a comforting experience and an affirmation that all is well in spiritland.

There are too many sane people here who have seen ghosts (spirits) to dismiss the idea that lifes energy continues in a conscious form.

I told my parents I no longer believe the Watchtower Society

they insisted i come over for a debate, a chance for them to save me since according to my mother this was "a matter of life and death.

" basically i spent the whole evening passively nodding my head and acknowledging what they said.

i tried a few times to argue or debate but getting through to them was impossible.

That damn Mary, I've never had so many PM's from women wantin to have my baby since she posted that pic of me. I almost got turned on lookin at myself with those buff leggs. It's a good thing the leaf was there cuz I remember I had shrinkage goin on during the taking of that pic.......it always does that just before I get in a pool or get my pic taken

My Dad

i've never really mentioned my real dad or our relationship but since we've just passed fathers day i thought i would.. the man mum lives with now is my stepdad who i've never seen eye to eye with until these recent months and despite the pain he caused me in the past i feel that i should look out for him now (he's quite a bit older than my mum, in his mid 50's now...not necessarily old but he had a stroke and his mental state isnt what i would describe as normal).

with him i've been on an emotional journey because i can finally move on from the problems he caused and even use my experiences for the better.

megan has played her part in this of course in more ways than one, her stepdad died recently and she didnt have the chance to forgive the things he did properly and it hurts her, i dont want that.

Karl my little buddy, you never cease to amaze me in your maturity at such a young age.

It was a sad read to hear how your father treated you as a child and sad to say there are many stories similar to yours. Many who go through these things are affected in a way that is not too good and allow their lives to suffer in many ways, but you see through all the smoke and you evaluate things and try to make wise decisions. We all applaud you for that as you set a good example for everyone.

i was talking to a friend who believes that everyone will acieve eternal life eventually.

she used some scriptures that make sense to me.. 1 cor.

15:22 -for as in adam all die, so also in christ, all will be made alive.. rom.8 :38,39- basically states that nothing can seperate us from god's love.. it was kind of refreshing to hear her talk about everyone being important and worthwhile to god.

ChoosingLife.....it's been a learning experience for the many of us who have already walked down the path you are now on in your search for truth (spiritual).

We see church joining, book reading, class taking people that leave the dubs to find spiritual truth and refreshment to come to the part in the road that says " nobody REALLY knows what life is all about, but if you can't take that for an answer and be content, then keep traveling". Your next stop will probably be at the place in the road called" the bible can't be believed".

You know full well the bible speaks of those who will not attain salvation because of remaining sinners and not living a christlike life nor even believing in the giver of life. The bible has so many warnings for the faithful not to slip back into their old ways and lose their life by being thrown in with the old snake and his buddies to eternal damnation. Even Jesus didn't believe he'd spare all.

So, your gonna find a christian church that goes along with you in what you yourself believes is "truth", or your gonna find that you can't put stock in any of the churches because there is conflict in the bible to begin with, hence you'll question the bible itself and start down another road. My guess is it will be the latter. Don't forget to rest now and then.

Holy Jesus H Christ! I didn't know that article was in the KM about how to dress after convention hours.

I seriously cannot wait too see how this transpires while I watch in my Jeans and t-shirt attire. I can't imagine anyone saying anything to me about this and if they do the shit will hit the fan.
