  Anniversary!

  just celebrated our 18th year as a married couple.

  went out for a nice dinner, then gambling at a casino!

  actually put some extra cash in my pocket for my troubles.. tr.

  to be taught not to criticise or analyse what you are being told, to be taught not to think for one self and to be taught that information can only come from one source, to be taught not to listen to the reasoned argument of people with other beliefs should surely set alarm bells ringing.. especially when this source has proved to be unreliable through decades of changing doctrine.. what will it take for people to realise?

  even when they abandon 1914, will people take note?

  will just a few people be "stumbled" and then the old teaching quickly be forgotten?.

  Yardirt:What you're referring to as "major doctrinal changes" were actually quite MINOR when placed up beside the 1914 doctrine
  Do you call 'MINOR" a change that previously took the lives of people you moron!
  Vaccination changes,taking blood fractions,divorce over oral sex changes, organ transplants, etc,etc.
  These "CHANGES" cost people before them their lives dipshit! How "MINOR" is this to you?

  That is exactly what will happen as with all other major doctrinal changes.
  What is it that makes people leave? For me it was getting df'ed and so hurt that i finally decided to investigate.
  I many times wonder how i could be so stupid and blind to this nonsence for most of my life.
  I realize it isn't stupidity that kept us there. Even the well respected "Farkle" with much intelligence was there a long time.

  when a jw tells you christmas is pagan, therefore you shouldnt celebrate it, you can refer them to this article.

  it is discussing wallpaper and other home decorations and what sorts are acceptable.. *** g76 12/22 14 are they idolatrous decorations?

  so the christian needs to be primarily concerned about what?

  just nice to know that i'm not alone.

  i'm truly amazed and had no idea unitil yesterday surfing on a whim i decided to confront my past.

  it's a blessing for me and i feel another turning point in my life because now i have lots of people to talk to and i know now that i wasn't and i'm not going crazy and that it's not just me.
