Were any divorced over oral sex?

let me explain:.

in times past, the society's policy was that a witness mate could divorce their mate who demanded or had them perform oral sex and persisted with their views.. later the policy was revised to mean a witness mate could divorce their mate who had oral sex with someone.....outside of the marriage.. are there any here who had this experience with the old arrangement, or do you know of any cases in which this happened?.

my reason for asking is, i wonder how many lives were ruined by another wt blunder.

My how they must have liked him, and how things have changed!It was not too long ago (10 years)ago, that an elder was fondaling a couple of different sisters,got caught, and was told by the CO he could be an elder again in as little as three years!

This elder was a relief CO, the PO in the congregation, and an ex-bethelite.

Isn't it odd how many sisters will divorce their mate, only to hook up with some loser who is three times worse than the first.

How many found the REAL truth from the internet?

if it was'nt for the internet i would still be stuck in the endless cycle of drone like meeting attendance and field service.

(technically i'm still in but not for long) i'm really glad that some ex-jws took the time to speak about the real truth.

for the longest time i always thought that what i was taught was correct, i never even felt the need to question it or validate it with actual facts.

"Colusion"....that is what it was called when two witness couples, PLANNED on one couple cheating with the other so they could divorce their mate, and switch mates.

The thought was, this was a very serious sin, and it could be doubtfull that Jehovah would forgive you.

If the couples remained in the same congregation, it could be an indefinate period of time..IF EVER....that either brother or sister, could have a position (pioneer, servant, elder, etc.)

I want to apologize to those that think this is too personal of a question. I guess I didn't really think about that.

I was only concerned if there were any cases out there.

I also wondered how many dubs used that old arrangement to get rid of that unwanted mate so they could marry the publisher they REALLY wanted!

Proof of the "historical" Jesus...

been wondering about this lately.... what proof (outside the bible, of course) do we have for the "historical jesus"?.

in my earlier days (post jw to "born again christian") i remember reading that the one thing that differentiates christianity vs. "all the others" was that we had secular historical proof that there was a man that was called jesus, who died on a cross and was resurrected.

now i am wondering just what that proof is/was?

Are there ANY here who had this experience with the OLD arrangement, or do you KNOW of any cases in which this happened?

My reason for asking is, I wonder how many lives were ruined by another WT blunder. This hasn't been discussed anywhere that I have seen since I've been out 7 years ago.

We will never know statistics on ruined lives by the dubs.

Anyway....let me know if you know of any.

What is Truth?
We all anxiously await the Dub response.

Just read the titles of the chapters in any of the 192 page bullcrap books and YK answers should match.

What is God's name?
Does your religion really matter?
Does man have a immortal soul?
Blah,blah,blah.

None of the above questions have a rats arse about what the bible say's is truth.

I won't even bother with the answer the bible gives.

Same here. I was raised as a witness and it is all I ever knew.
I fell to my knees in the kitchen and cried when I realized it wasn't "The Truth."

This feeling came as a result of reading COC, then other material, and the Net.

My feeling from then on....what IS truth?

I still am not POSITIVE on what it is.
