Why do they call it french kissing anyway? I'm sure the french didn't invent it.

No....there is NO policy on french kissing.
While dating.....kissing is strongly discouraged....though most all do anyway. Another article that hasn't been quoted here was one that talked about 'links' that led to fornication. Holding hands was the first link to this.....so the article asked..."Would it be wise to start with the first link"?
In other words.....the first time you hold hands with the one you care about should be AFTER your married!!!!!!! Unbelievable!

Approach it from the flaws in the WT and its history, or the flaws in the Bible and its history?
I would approach pointing out the flaws with the Organisation first.....it's easier for one thing. As truman said...getting them to read COC is the best start.....or....INDEX OF WATCHTOWER ERRORS. This is a real eye opener for many to see flaws with the Borg and a good reference book.
COC was also what made me realize what the Borg was all about. Good luck and please keep us posted on the results.

If You Didn"t PREACH, YOU were BLOODGUILTY
by minimus inpreaching, to a witness is the most important assignment that god gives.as a matter of fact, if you don't preach you are bloodguilty before god.if you don't cover the territory properly, you are bloodguilty.
if you didn't keep proper records, you were bloodguilty.if you didn't do not-at-homes, you were bloodguilty.if you didn't return to talk to a return visit within the week, you were bloodguilty.
obviously, we could never reach all persons with the "truth".

......Now, does anybody feel guilty???
No. Those who do must still think as a dub does. There are many ways to share a faith besides cold-calling on doors. Example and SHARING the message whenever.
How often? In what manner? You must to it the dub way or your either bloodguilty.....or your not following Jehovahs 'arrangement'. Either way, you lose with them.

Can "Wordly" people go to book studies?
by Double Edge innever being a jwi have a question.
my dub friend invited me to her church (whatever) one sunday, which i of course i went - it was ok - nothing special, except i know what you mean about being "love bombed".
my question.... do any non-dubs go to the weekly bookstudies?

The KM is circulated to JWs and approved associates ONLY.
Kind of funny isn't it? To become eligable for baptism one must have close to the national average in hours spent in service......yet only approved accociates are to have the KM. They also disapprove of making a copy for others, such as a bible study.

However.... by the 4th century many professed Christians had become impatient for Christ return
So I guess in the second and third centuries these "professed Christians were not impatient and in good standing with Jehovah?? Wrong! The society has numerous statements, that Christianity was defiled long before the 4th century.

hey gumby...how iz finding out about the afterlife a reason to LIVE?
I guess if I knew there was something better in the future, then I could deal with this life easier and have something to look forward to. I am at the point where life and why we are here makes no sence. I believe in a creator for the most part but have no idea whats on his mind.
I wished what I had believed in all my life was going to be true...a paradise with no problems. Perhaps it will be.....but not the dub way.

Retrograde Evolution
by Derrick inadam and eve started perfect, but lost absolute perfection.
the bible's hebrew scriptures (or old testament) in the book of genesis 5:5 states that almost perfect adam lived over nine centuries until the age of 930. this can be likened to someone who was born during the dark ages in the year 1100 living until old age today, and finally passing away almost 30 years from now.
adam waited until he was age 130 before he and eve had their first child, whom they named seth.

Adamwaited until he was age 130 before he and Eve had their first child, whom they named Seth.
He waited? What do you mean, he waited? He didn't have sex...or he used some type of birth control?
BTW... Seth was NOT the first child....Cain was....abel was the second and seth was the third child...Gen:4:25

Will they grow Hemp in that Paradise garden?
by kenpodragon ini was thinking today about that paradise garden the witness always pictured.
i remember all those happy blank faces, with the rosy cheeks and content look.
they were all smiling eating a apple, petting a lion, and running around the trees.

Therefore, it would actually be disrespectful to refuse its presence in the paradise garden. The same goes for poppies, magic mushrooms, and lickable frogs?????
Where in the crap did I miss out on this one! I never heard of such a thing. I just went out and licked a frog in my koi pond and it didn't do crap for me! Actually it went pee pee on me.......I think it was a toad.
Actually.... putting all seriousness aside....cannabis was a #1 choice for various ailments in the past. It was mandantory for farmers to grow it in the U.S.
Look up Jackherer.com for a full rundown on this beauty of a plant.
