although my opinion of the use of blood has dramatically changed.
i was surprised with my reaction when i recently visited someone in hospital and the blaz a way the nurse said that the patient had been given 2 units of blood to "build him up".
when i looked at the hooked up line of red blood, i felt physically sick, not because of the sight of blood as some people are, but that he was was been intravenously "fed" blood.
If the blood is being administered to "build him up" surely it is being used as food,and in this case would be unacceptable to Christians who do respect God's word on not using blood as food?

having experienced the shunning of nearly all my old friends, i realize that although wt can not stop you from expressing your own thoughts (free will), they certainly do have enough control mechanisms in place to make you less likely to do so.
i was an open apostate for awhile, not on purpose, was just expressing myself to anyone who would listen about how we had been duped.....lied to about certain things.
i chose to shut up and shut down for the most part since i knew a full df would be even harder on my wife and our marriage.
I guess as with the "Big Thing" that woke each of us up everybody has one or two things,different from each other.
For example I outlined about twenty things that I was having trouble with to a Bro. when I first stopped going to meetings and he came back with the rather obscure "I don't believe the Holy Spirit appoints brothers to positions",well neither did I ever,only as far as the Elders would compare his qualifications with those in Scripture,but apparently some believe that the HS does direct matters.
He also added "And I have proof"
I guess since he has recently been appointed he has proof positive.
But any Dub with two sparking braincells must have at least SOMETHING !

fuel here has dropped 10-15 cents a litre thanks to the price of all falling so i guess "the end of the system" is not coming as many witnesses have been saying.

as often as; just what does this mean, strongs has it as 4178 meaning many times, others (some) believe it was once yearly.
and yet again others believe it happened after they gathered together to eat and afterward the celebrated the lords last supper.
just how often is/was it to be celebrated.
The scripture seems to me to be encouraging an act of remembrance whenever the disciples came together to eat,as in their "Love Feasts" etc. so again it looks as though the WT has got it wrong and changed the nature and atmosphere of such an act of respect for Jesus.
I think it hurts the GB that Jesus is given such prominence even once a year in their invented "celebration".

I agree with the foregoing comments,but in the past the WT has tried to ward off the effects of 'postate statements,i,e The Proclaimers book,which is nothing but a thinly veiled,if pathetic and lying,reply to accusations rightly made in the past.
I wonder if they may produce something to counteract all the info onthe Web?

A few weeks back I had a Shep Call,(really trying to find a way to DF me for apostasy,rather than encourage me )one of the bros.has a fleshly bro in Brooklyn,which may or may not be relevant,but during conversation he said that even if the figures are down in the report ,his faith (in The Borg) will not be affected.
I didn't think anything of it at the time,everything else he said was bollocks as well,but do you think he has word from his bro. that the figures are DOWN ?

firstly, the wts have put their organisation in the self-assigned role as the "faithful and discreet slave", which we'll come to in a second.
The blinded minds of those still in will not see any of this,my first feeling on this was "so what,let them carry on until they DO see"
but I suppose we who have been enlightened should try to show them that the GB is "the Disgusting Thing,standing in a place that it ought not", (i.e in place of Jesus )

i thought after recently reading the bible i would put up for disussion some recent scriptures up which for me show that jesus never viewed himself as god and anyone listening would also see it this way too.. first mark 10 :17-20.
