  I believe Noah then pictured Jesus Christ. Possibly by having Noah act as the preserver of all life forms in his land, God was pointing to a time when Jesus Christ will prevent the annihilation of all species on
  earth. I believe he will do so when he returns to judge this world, just before mankind totally destroys all human and animal life in a major nuclear war.

  Hang on. I'm a little confused. you said:

  He will do this when he returns to judge the world. Which is just before "mankind totally destroys all human and animal life in a major nuclear war." But I thought you said Jesus would prevent it? Or maybe your saying Jesus comes down and judges the world and whisks all those deserving ones away to heaven, including all species of animals etc.And after all the other humans and animals are annihilated in a global nuclear war. He then puts the deserving ones back on Earth or something????....after all the radiation has gone, because we dont want mutant freaks evolving, do we!

  Also, dont you find Gods morality a little disturbing. How many babies and toddlers will die in this horrible nuclear war? How many babies and children died in the flood.

  I think it is interesting but I don't feel that enough evidence has been uncovered yet to proclaim it as fact.

  I think Achristian's post was interesting. I remember him from last year over at H20. I do think he's reaching a little...just a little. I find his interpretation of the bible's flood story very strained. My natural reading of it, is that it's talking of a huge flood and not some local event. I think think thats a more natural reading of the text.

  There are always too sides, there are no certainties (except in Christ), no one can prove nor disprove the existence of God. You cannot actually be an atheist for no one can know all....except God. All of your reasons for reviling Christianity are moot points. God will show mercy on whom He will show mercy, He need not provide explanations for His will, nor the reasons therin. His thoughts are not like ours. We see none of the big picture, thus we have no basis to set ourselves up as judges of His behavior.
  It doesn't matter what we like or don't like about His actions (or inactions). We have no legitimate say in the matter. He has always determined the lengths of men's lives. He is sovereign Lord at all times. He just IS and we understand that as 'I Am', not "I have been' as the blasphemous NWT phrases His name.

  Your are wrong Rex. Allah is the only true way. Not Christ. You must follow Allah for your soul to be saved. Praise Allah and his prophet. Peace be upon you all!

  Harry Potter Movie

  i saw this on saturday and.... now i am a servant of the dark lord bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!.

  ... it was very cool.. visually very faithful to the books; eerything looks as it 'should', which is really hard.

  the screenplay was an acceptable compromise between the brevity neccesary in converting a book to a film, although one part (the dursley's leaving privett drive to escape the letters and being hunted down by hagrid) was done very badly.. the actors were excellent, and (thank god, nothing against american's, but i object to english stories being americanised for no reason other than american cultural imperialism) an excellent cast of top-quality 'supporting' english, or i should say british (as robbie coltraine is great as hagrid (and big!

  The Star Wars trilogy was a classic. Heaps of fun.

  The Phantom menace sucked shit big time. All special effects...but other than that it was totally dis-engaging. Bored the crap out of me.

  Bad movie!!!!

  BTW in the latest episode I hear they're going to kill off Chewy. I hope they do a re think and kill off Jar jar Binks instead.

  I'd be happy to give it a try, and would expect nothing. Tell me, those of you who have done it, what do you have to do? Just pull out the board and the pointer and put your finger on the pointer and wait? Or is there more?

  I dont think It'd work for me either. But there seems to be so many people I know who say they have been conversing with the dead!?!

  Apparently all you have to do is turn the lights off, light a few candles...put all the letters of the alphabet in a circle and then put a glass in the middle. Then all the people put their finger on the glass and then some-one says "Spirits, are you there...is any one there from the otherside"...and then you try not to laugh.

  i've made friends with a mormon lady, and she told me that her 14yo daughter has thrown out all four harry potter books because she's realised they are dabbling in and encouraging demons.

  then she told me about her demon experiences herself.

  has any exjw, of sound mind, had a proper demon experience (as opposed to improper!!)?

  Gweedo, I've had similiar things - but I believe that's a sleep state

  Just as I'm waking up these things have happened to me. I dont think it's anything supernatural. But's it's the closet I've ever come. It's were sleep and reality sort of merge, I believe.
