I think ephesians is saying that we ought not to boast in ourselves not that there isn't work to be done as jesus did use parables showing that work was needed , don't have a problem with that .True he could put all suffering out of the way but he does have a personal agenda and a schedule aparently . For now people can be grateful that they have not been destroyed in Gods wrath .

by heathen ingot a copy and been reading it , the first chapter about how god doesn't like human suffering nor causes any of it seems like a fallacy to me .there are plenty of accounts where he personally killed allot of people , noahs ark , moses and pharoah ,it's pretty obvious that god likes to play god and the new testament says he will cause allot more suffering against his enemies .

Yah really ,They make it sound like they did it for nothing when in fact they gave the money to the WTBTS , I mean why not just let the homeowner keep the money if you are doing it out of good will ? There clearly was something in it for them . They do some very seedy things , I'm looking at how they lend money to congregations to build with and then they own the property plus get the people to pay back the loan . I just don't think that's on the level at all .

the pictures in the 'prophecy book' looked amazingly watchtoweresque also, and lead the lead character to immediately investigate 'biblical numerology'.
i had seen it before - but there must be less and less fog in my mind nowadays - since i didn't see any of the same similarities i saw when i watched it last night.

I thought the same thing with the "what does the watchtower say the bible says", kind of approach .I do believe in a higher power and just because people have used the bible for evil does not mean the book itself is evil , people use anything they can get to do evil , if people followed jesus teachings we would be in paradise instead they mix it with politics or paganism thus corrupting it or using it to control and manipulate .In effect the devil causes way more suffering .God himself is judge, jury and executioner and only acts in accord with divine law and does explain why he does things in the bible.

I'd say that at the time God wanted people to spread out not to form one city and waste all their time building a tower so some idiot can pretend he's God . Cameo- Alex Jones does use allot of hate speech in his broadcast and on his sites ,it's only a matter of time before the "establishment", puts a stop to it .I mean he does go on about crooked cops being trained to bully people and evil political powers trying to murder us all the time .Of course on the web there's not accountability for anything said .

Is there any church that actually lets them bring a casket in? I thought those type of things were to be done at the funeral parlor. It seems kind of odd they would take the deceased in a hearse to a church .

Yah LOL@mary Like the WTBTS hasn't shoved their opinions down everybody's throat, but better watch out for those elders and their opinions. When wrong they are merely imperfect humans but aside from that everybody should just shrug it off as part of Gods plan and never mention it again. Very peculiar stuff .
